Why are some groups, some people, some countries given a pass? (allowed to be racist)

The article that I just read that made me think of this topic is the one that has to do with Egypt tearing down a Christian Church. Of course I didn't hear of it from the mainstream media, stories like this are only found in places like FR and WorldNetDaily. A few people like myself might say something, but no one will make much noise, the UN won't condemn Egypt and the only ones who will suffer will be the Christian Egyptians who don't have a Church.

The world seems to have adopted an unwritten code that states that some groups are simply superior to other groups. The best group consists of black-Muslim-lesbian-feminists, and the worst group consists of straight-white-Christian-males (if they're from the South that's even worse); with all the other groups in between. Charles Barkley can say "I hate white people" and no one cares because his group (black males) is superior to the group he derided. But if John Rocker says he dislikes "queers, immigrants, and people with green hair" he is in big trouble, because the group he belongs to (white male Christians) is inferior to green-haired immigrant homosexuals.

You're basically allowed to hate and deride any group that is inferior to your own group. Charlie Ward is allowed to say things about Jews, because blacks are superior to Jews. But let a white player (say Keith Van Horn) say something derogatory about Jews and they will be in big trouble.

When a lesbian produces a play called "Jesus Has Two Mommies" that's ok because lesbians are superior to Christians. If a Christian says Merry Christmas then he is racist and intolerant of other religions, he should be saying Happy Holidays; But if a Muslim says Happy Ramadaan then he is only celebrating his faith. If I join a white club then I am a racist; but if blacks or Mexicans join clubs for their race they are celebrating their culture, and if they have a channel that is just for people of their race (BET anyone?) then that is celebrating their culture as well.

I have friends who are police officers. If you are tracking a serial-killer it is ok to racially profile and primarily be on the look out for white males (since they are the majority of serial killers). It is, however, very not ok (even racist) to profile blacks for homicide or Hispanics for drugs.

It is obvious here who society considers to be superior and inferior. As a straight-white-Christian-male from the South, I don't like being at the bottom of the totem pole.




What is true in America on a personal level, is true in the World arena on an international level. Egypt can tear down Churches, discriminate against Christians in all walks of life, and even support the abuse and killing of Christians in that country (the killing is for now just allegations, of course no one will investigate), and no one will say a word. But let Israel or Serbia defend themselves from Muslim terrorists and look what happens; Serbia was bombed till they had no choice but to surrender, and Israel is demonized and condemned in the UN more than any other country. Imagine if Israel (or the US) were to tear down a Mosque just as Egypt tore down the Church, there would be an international outcry and you would be able to find the article in the main stream press (probably on the front page).

Christians are raped and slaughtered in Islamic countries across the globe and no one says a word, but let a Muslim scrape his knee in the US, Europe, or Israel and it's front page news. We all felt sorry for the blacks in South Africa, we sanctioned South Africa and raised money for the blacks there; but no one cares about the whites in South Africa now that the blacks hold the political power. No one cares about the whites in Zimbabwe who are thrown off their land and killed.

I could have listed a hundred more examples, both on a personal and international level; in all cases the same central point rings true - around the globe, the same groups are considered to be a protected class, the same groups are always the victims - but some people can never be the victims, no matter what is done to them.

Welcome to the PC world of officially sanctioned discrimination. I am a WASP male, and have experienced the same thing. The best thing to do is to try to be an entrepeneur. Don't work for a large company which has EOE (unEqual Opportunity Employment), and definitely don't work in a government job (same reason). You are a second-class citizen. In our society, that's just the way it is. I expect that it will get worse before it gets better, but that doesn't mean that I can't try to fight around it. Good luck.

I'd say you have written a pretty accurate analysis. You cannot say that blacks are racists. Slaveholding is not all that bad in Sudan. Islam is a religion of love.

Answer: Spiritual bakruptcy leading to the need to be elected, leading to the need for bloc votes. Secondly, the populace in general is egalitatian even to the point of accepting death rather than surrender this 'need'; a debauched populace; wide spread tolerance(the inability to say yes or no, the inability to take a stand, the inability of our society to excrete); warm, fuzzy, lets discuss anything etc. A people sans limits to their personal conduct. Thirdly, the balance has now tipped in favor of the former outcasts and they are moving into power. In order to strengthen this power they will bring in more.

Harare - Duncan Cooke, became the latest victim of Mr Mugabe's thugs. Mr  Cooke, 25, was attacked on Butleigh Farm, 80 miles north of Harare, by  six government officials who were inspecting his employer's land for  resettlement. When he asked them to move their car to make way for a  tractor he was slashed with a panga, receiving serious head wounds.  Outside the private hospital in Harare where Mr Cooke underwent surgery.

Black rule in South Africa is carrying that once-proud nation deeper and deeper into savagery and depravity.  South Africa has the highest incidence ofrape of any country in the world,  and one inevery eight Black South Africans is infected with HIV or hasfull-blown AIDS. 

The belief is widespread among Blacks that sex with a virgin -- or more generally with an uninfected woman -- will cure AIDS : supposedly the woman's uninfected body draws the infection out of the body of the man who is having sex with her.

  Because the HIVinfection rate is far lower among White women than among Blacks,  White women increasingly are the targets of Black rapists, as are infants of either race.  A recent series of gang rapes of South African infants, as young as five months old,  has caused shock even in that crime-ridden country, although there has been very little news in America about the rapes. 

The media here, having played the key role in bringing Black rule  and subsequent ruin to South Africa, largely have ignored the consequences of their destructive work.

I have to disagree. "The world" hasn't adopted these notions, only Americans. And third-world "advocates" (e.g., U.N. thugs, NGO lefties, World Bank beggars, DemoRats generally) are all too happy to make use of this uniquely American weakness to grab as much political advantage and cash as is possible.

The world is not against us, but our PC fellow citizens certainly are.

May I add in there 'New Zealand'. Our government is so emmersed in shame over past 'injustices' that they are forking out enough money to minorities to bring our economy to its knees.

I run my own security firm with three other guys, we lost out on a job because we're white. It seems harder and harder to avoid.

I am getting sick and tired of the hypocrisy and double standards. I've noticed it even more after Sep. 11. You see these stupid liberals on TV; we (the US) do A + B + C, no wonder they hate us. If I were to give reasons why I hate them I would be racist.
