It doesn't mention Muslims. The Indians could have been Hindu (a number of Indians work in SA). The American housewife is probably not Muslim. And if you don't think it happens 10 times more in the "western" culture, you need to think again.

Similarly, when a woman forgets her marriage vows and leaves her husband for someone she knows only from an Internet chatroom, serious doubts are cast on her intelligence and integrity So according to the Arab news, a man who does this is still regarded as intelligent and has personal integrity?
No wonder their society is so screwed up.

If people go looking for something else on the internet, there are already problems in the relationship.
This is another attempt at blaming an inanimate object (the internet) instead of people.

I have had women offer to fly across country and in one case from Europe to meet me. All this AFTER they knew I was married happily and uninterested. Now I have to have a "no women" chat rule. People are weird.

In a few weeks, the man received a letter from his wife; she was in Chicago and she wanted a divorce. She confessed that after the time she had spent with her chat friend, she wanted to marry him.
C'mon women!
How common is it that you meet the man of your dreams and 'weeks' later you want to dump your husband!

Pretty funny coming from a culture where men can arbitrarily decide to divorce and most women can't get near a computer.

I know this article is about Muslims, but as a divorce attorney, I have had two clients whose marriages fell apart after, in both cases, the wives met someone on line. In my own life, my idiot uncle left his wife of 25 years and 2 kids for the new Ms. Right (whom he promptly broke up with a few months later, and has moved on to another doorknob he met on line).
Cheating is cheating, whether in person over the internet.

It is beyond doubt that man by nature is not monogamous. I don't think I agree with this.

Internet has a few advantages that 'real life' doesnt:
It forces communication, intimate, meaningful communication that is normally derailed by the temptation of physical intimacy in real life. When you consider how a net relationship can last years, something must be given its due.
It teaches the lost art of human intrigue and mystery, seduction and temptation as a constant, rather than a means. True, only your minds touch, but an incredible journey lies there.
Is it cheating? It is the DEFINITION of cheating -- telling more truth, sharing more of yourself, to and with someone you shouldnt be.
