Prayers of thanksgiving that Dylan is all right! Poor Kimberly ... she's been through more in just a few months than most people do in a lifetime. May God protect her and comfort her!

Seems like I recall years ago some little girl turned blue after eating a jawbreaker, too. Dang, her name escapes me. Oh well.

Hope the little guy is okay and back to normal soon.

Very scary and I'm glad the boy is ok, but I can't imagine giving Jaw Breakers to a four year old! I don't even let my nine year old boy chew hard candy because he's always running around and wrestling with the dog. I just *know* he'd choke on them.

Prayers all around... Life is so precious and so tenuous! And there was a cop when she needed him!

I'm with you here....no hard candy for little ones. Have to say tho, it must be pretty hard to keep your head straight after the trauma of these past months. Pray for their family.

"They just seemed like they were there all of a sudden," the firefighter's widow said last night. "Thank God. They saved my son's life."

Often God's angels appear from nowhere. Thank Him for allowing this precious child to be saved and preventing further heartache to the family.

Good point. I know I'd probably still be walking around in a daze if I were her.

Thanks for the BUMP Cool Guy.

I love it when lives are saved by men and women who don't quit and give it their all. GOd Bless the men who saved the life of the little boy. Someday, that boy they saved will grow up and do great things for others, you watch.

no hard candy for little ones.

Urban myth or truth?: LifeSavers are shaped like that to prevent choking. And I always thought it was just because they're shaped like lifesavers.

That is true, that's why life savers have the hole. There are several things that can cause kids to choke. I remember the rule in my house was that you weren't allowed to have peanuts until you were seven years old. Peanuts can choke kids.
