"...12-year-old Muhammad al-Dura was killed in the Gaza Strip last year while his father tried to protect him from crossfire..."

Wasn't that the poor little devil who got hit when his cowardly father rolled up in a ball beside him?

Who killed Mohammed al-Dura? 12-year-old Palestinian 'martyr' likely killed by his own people

Yes, from the pictures the child was shielding daddy's back for 45 minutes. But the Palestianians don't mind sacrificing their young. You would have thought the father would have grabbed his son and covered the child with his body. Better yet, hearing gunfire, he wouldn't have taken his little son into a fire zone in the first place.

Yes. The one hit by a .50 machinegun, from the analysis of the film located quite close to the photographer, and not anywhere near where the Israelis were. The photographer with an Arab-sounding name. And if I remember, the father seemed to have a press conference together in hours, if not minutes.

Yup, that's the one. From the pix, it looked to me more like the father was behind him. I absolutely do not understand that. If there was gunfire going on, as much of my child's body as could possibly fit would be under mine.

Full disclosure: I do not (yet) have any children, but I can't even imagine any other attitude.

Yes, and then he was intentionally murdered by Palestinian gunmen, firing directly into the child, and away from the Israelis they were supposedly shooting at.

Actually the real question is: What would a good father be doing by bringing his son there?

That was the little boy who's father put in in the crossfire to create a martyr...but he was shot by Palistinians, not Israelis. This was proven, but the press has ignored it. Typical of the press.
