Senators are soo stupid. What kinda questions are these? Abortion is removing a possible life from the world. The problem is not when the life is alive or a child or a baby but the question is if the mother is allowed to have a choice if the life to be is killed or not!

If there was no choice then the moment the sperm enters the egg it is a human, otherwise its it could be dead because the mother choose at anytime before the life leaves the womb, even if its foot is in the mother, to have it killed.

This is my question, is there anywhere in the consitution about abortion otherwise it should be a state issue?

I remember in the same debate (c-span transcript), Santorum hammered Senator Sarbanes the same way.

Sarbanes finally admitted that if a full-term "fetus" being aborted accidentally slipped and came out all the way, it was still a matter of "choice" between the woman and her doctor if the woman asked the doctor to kill the baby. That spineless CLYMER Sarbanes had that part of his remarks removed from the official Congressional Record afterwards.

I saw that too. It is now extremely clear to me how these people operate. They are nothing but reflections of us, which is sad at times. America gets attacked and becomes more conservative, they follow in lock step. I guess this is the way a republic is supposed to work, but I kind of think that since they are the leaders, they should be ahead of the ball, not constantly reacting to it or polling it to see where they should stand.
