She is an intergalactically stupid woman. She makes stupid people look bright. And she's California's gift to the nation, to the world, to history.

Everytime I as a Californian thought about how much Arkansans had to answer for, I immediately thought "Boxer." And winced.

Worse still, she won the office from a good man (Bruce Herschensohn) THE SAME YEAR Clinton became president. That was a sad, awful night. My wife and I literally held each other and wept.

And the sad fact is...she probably makes the case for ABORTION about as well as it can be made... which is not at all!

I believe that exchange came from the debate on the Live Birth Bill, which sought to ensure that every baby who actually survived an abortion would receive medical treatment. As it stands now, if the baby survives the abortion, it has no rights, and is either left on the table until dead, or immediately wrapped in plastic and thrown out. That lovely "when you take your baby home" phrase was Boxer's effort to defend her opposition to this bill.

BTW, this bill would have passed overwhelmingly, with only a few idiots like this one voting against it. You can thank Trent Lott for making sure it failed. He tacked on a little amendment requiring that it could pass only if it had the unanimous vote of the Senate.
