If there is even a single terrorist attack of any type in Portland, Oregon ... Vera Katz will be driven out of office by popular demand. In my humble opinion, Katz is running scared because she is afraid of civil rights lawsuits and is simply kow towing to the ACLU. She is a pig rolling in the "PC" corrupted pig hovel.

The law says:

it is a violation of privacy for the local authorities to "keep investigation files" on persons who are not suspected of any crime * * *

There is no prohibition regarding the conducting of an investigation or simply asking questions. In my view, the police have the authority to ask questions to help the FBI. Then, under the law, they may be required to turn over their investigative notes or files to the FBI.

Hardy Meyers, the Oregon Attorney General, came to the same conlcusion.
