-SNIP-Ominously, the Abu Dhabi series reflects the mainstreaming of anti-Semitism across the Arab world. Saudi Arabian and Egyptian TV are debating whether to air a 30-part miniseries, "Horseman Without a Horse," which is based on the debunked canard "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," an early 20th century hoax by the Russian czar's secret police that purported to reveal a Jewish plan to dominate the world. The book, a virtual prescription for genocide, has been invoked by every Jew hater from Adolf Hitler to Louis Farrakhan. THE REST HERE ...

No, we were discussing you and your friends, the non-jewish anti-zionists bent on the destruction of Israel. You have nothing in common with Yeshua or Miriam, zilch, nada, klum. It is all in your imagination. It is not real. You hate the children of Jacob out of your innate jealousy and cannot possibly know or represent the God of Jacob. It is spiritually impossible.
My apologies, friendly fire, I'd attend your funeral but it seems you will recover nicely. :)
I profusely appologize for being so brash as to suggest that the media should perhaps consider the source of words. I applogize for wanting people to see that the word "antisemite" is helping the racists in the Arab world in their hateful fight against Israel. I appologize for daring to question the wisdom of utilizing words designed by racists to confuse and blur meaning. You win.
I suppose you and others like you will do the same goofy lock step when I question the origin and use of the word "assault rifle" as well, right? No doubt.
Sorry, but in this modern society, anti-semitism specifically refers to the hatred of JEWISH semites and none other. Webster's dictionary states, "hostility toward or discrimination against Jews as a religious, ethnic, or racial group."
Logically yes, but in practise it never happens, even the Jewish anti Zionists are that for reasons specific to Jews.
I'm pro-Israel, which to me means that I support the modern state of Israel, but it also means, in a different sense, that I support the people Israel, which is all Jews in general. I don't think of the state of Israel and the people Israel as the same thing at all. The state is a political entity, just over 50 years old. The people are, of course, much older, with a much older history.
Actually, I think they're semi-independent connected by a lumbar jack.
No one is arguing the point that Arabs are also semitic; however, the context of "anti-semitism" is JEWISH semites.
Judge, jury, and warden. You've outed yourself, the self-appointed (T)hought (P)olice are back in town. Howdy, TP.
Do you and your other friends from the stormfront tag team each other or do you act independently? Actually, I think they're semi-independent connected by a lumbar jack.
Wow, neat. So my being pro-Israel, anti racist and otherwise very tolerant seems to rub you the wrong way. Hey, you get to Win Again(tm)!
Golly, I wish you lock steppers would bother to read posts as opposed to jumping on the bandwagon for the sake of looking "cool". But then, what else should I expect, right? That would require positive action and thought, which is gosh darn hard, right?
Why is a cow a cow and not a sofa?
And would we ever know what the meaning of is, is?

Your own website defines ANTI-semitism as the following: an·ti-Sem·i·tism (nt-sm-tzm, nt-)
1. Hostility toward or prejudice against Jews or Judaism.
2. Discrimination against Jews.
Check it out yourself. We are discussing "anti-semitism," not the definition of "semite."
*Segue* - Einstein.
Actually, I think he's trying to improve. I distinctly remember him using "segway" before. Maybe he's just learning English?
Better judge and jury than universal executioner, you vile Nazi. I don't know how long your future will be on this Forum, but I measure it it minutes.
This poor newbie thinks he is the universal ruler of the meaning of words. But look at the scum that have climed out from under the rocks around here.
No one is arguing the point that Arabs are also semitic; however, the context of "anti-semitism" is JEWISH semites.
First, thank you for being one of the handful of people here who are attempting to address me politely. I appreciate the effort. :)
If you read the entire thread, you'll see my argument stems from the incorrect origin of the word, as coined by proto-Nazis, and which is now accepted carte blance. I know that common usage is "anti-jewish", but the word is used by many hatemongers in the world (Arabs in this case) to play dodging word games when confronted with their horrible philosophy of murdering Jews. I posit that to continue to use charged words such as this allows propagandists from the other side to continue their cheap games.
Of course, so many here have blinders on and are jumping on the bandwagon so they can look "cool" to their buddies, that the point eludes most of them. Doesn't seem to stop their ranting. An amazing thing, mob psychology.
I know. I always win. Kinda boring, but what can you do?
You gave the game away when you claimed that "antisemitism" was a word specifically invented to confuse the issue of race hatred. You can't possibly be as mindless as that. So your game is another one, that of "bleaching" the quite stigmatizing (and well-defined) label of "antisemite". So many of you folks really don't like to be stuck with a term that most people know what means, and brings most people into a closer knowledge of the term "projectile vomit".
Calm down before you have a stroke. Try to find a post where I suggested that ANY one should be executed. That's all coming from YOUR side of the fence. Find a post where I suggested that the vile Nazi's were anything BUT vile. When you throw mud, all you accomplish is to lose ground and get your hands dirty.
Anti-Semitic means anti-Jewish.
Anti-Semites use your argument to imply that there is no such hatreds. That argument is only a step away from them denying the Holocaust.
While you may have had good intentions, you don't want to be on the side of those who carry that banner.
