A few minutes later during cocktail chitchat with Vice President Cheney, McAuliffe downed a crab cake and said: "We're going to have a great 2002. But since I'm eating your food, let's not talk about 2004."
To which Vice President Cheney replied:
Uhhh...yeah, I think NFL Realignement will boost ticket sales too...

Let's go to the true origin...
Genesis 1:1
In the begining God created the Heaven and Earth and said " I hope they don't steal the silverware!"
To: kinganamort
Hmmm "let's not talk about 2004"- yeah because you cant take it, Terry. You guys are going to lose, you know it, and that is why you dont want to talk about it. You might need some Tums ASAP

LOl! Is that true? What exactly does this quote mean? I'm illiterate in those types of expressions.
To: RooRoobird14
I believe there was a deeper meaning attached also "nice to have you back, just don't steal the silverware" could also be a subtle way of saying "I know what you did last year, and we are cracking down on illegal activities everywhere" hehehe...Go Bush...Go Ashcroft!

Right on target. These rats, particularly the clinton monkeys have to be put on notice, and watched 24/7. They have very long records of gangsterisms. I wonder, if the slimeball realized the significance of President GWB's remarks, other than what he thought of just being a joke.
To: kinganamort
Excellent! Couldn't have said it better myself, nor to a nicer guy.
To: kinganamort
Who the hell invited that scum anyway. Just after we had the White House cleaned and they let him back in? I don't think so. Geeze.
