It undoubtedly came up watching CSPAN....not in the real recent past...but I remember senatorial stupidity when I come across it.

To narrow the time frame down....I loved here in November 94 and didn't pay attention to TV until 95....I have satellite and CSPAN and CSPAN 2 are on it. At the latest, it hasn't been since St. George became Prez.

It may have been during the last Congressional two-year session; maybe the one before....as I recall, Bud Schuster was the House Committee Chair/SubChair involved with spending highway trust funds....and they went on a spending spree the likes of which will probably not be seen for another 20 years!

Sorry I can't be any more specific as to time frame

Actually, ANY Senator that was in office during the Impeachment fiasco, is BAD. Every single Republican agreed in their caucus to the Democraps demand that there be no trial trial....hence, the kangaroo court and every single Democrap who refused to listen to the evidence and voted in lock step to acquit the Pervert.

Every single senator that was in office at the time flat out failed to uphold their oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

I didn't know if you were serious or not.

I'm related to a former Detroit mayor. From what I read, he wasn't that good either(and he was a dem). Oh well.

I used to love Santorum... Until I read Schippers' book about the impeachment trial.

I'd have to say Gramm, Inhofe, Domenici, Kyle, and Bond.

And Ensign shows Great Promise!

McConnell is a sell-out and an opportunist. Vote for a Ban on this list.

Bunning will be a future all-star.

I'm not a huge McConnell fan, but without his tireless effort, McCain's Campaign Finance bill would have passed the senate.

I'm from Kentucky and he's a power-freak. You have three parties in the Commonwealth. 1) The Democratic Party, 2) The Conservative Republicans, 3) The Cult of Personality, i.e. McConnell Republicans

He tries to run the whole show and cuts state-level and local level Republicans off at the knees by cutting deals to keep himself in power. He engineered a token candidate for an incumbent Democrat Governor that could have been beaten because he was weak in his base and will face only token opposition himself next year. Plus, Bunning won't go in lock-step with him, so he's going to sell him out when his re-election comes up in 2004. That's the scuttlebutt about that sell-out. McConnell's message about campaign finance is clouded by the fact that his arranged marriage to Labor Secretary Elaine Chao (who has numerous ties to Red China) makes him an extension of the Communist Chinese Government.

As they say down on the farm: He's as worthless as tits on a boar hog.

Just do a general search about Chao and McConnell and your eyes will be opened, like mine were.

*LOL* Thanks for the info!

I was disappointed he headed the Senatorial Pac (forgot that acronym) and held all those purse strings... He's not heading that pac anymore, right?

Where is the BARF ALERT?

This thread is TOO depressing for words.

Bill Frist is the only one who has not irritated me lately.
