Johnny bin Walker put his MAMA AND DADDY'S money where his mouth is! I don't think he was supporting himself while he was in the Madrassah in Pakistan or wandering all over Afghanistan.

I agree that a bullet through the head is the only answer for this little traitor. And I'll arm wrestle you for the privledge of dispatching this vermin off to Bin Hell.

Looking at a WWII analogy, he certainly deserves a bullet more than Eddie Slovik, who merely went in the other direction when duty called.

Not sure I agree with your finding any merit in this rotting-brained youth. But I can see your point. Again looking at WWII, I have listened to recordings of Lord Haw Haw, who was a British citizen who self-renounced his citizenship and broadcast for Radio Hamburg. I must say I have enjoyed his broadcasts very much. I must also say that had I been there that day in 1946 when the Brits squeezed the last sound out of his throat, I would have cheered and would have fought the hangman for the right to pull the rope.

I agree with you for the most part, but are you sure he no longer has citizenship?

He wasn't a terrorist, he was a soldier who chose to die like with the rest of the Taliban, rather than shave his beard, use his citizenship to return to America, and then turn himself into a suicide bomb.

if standing up for one's personal convictions by itself is praiseworthy, then Walker's conduct was praiseworthy, but given his convictions were to attack the US, he'll get no kudos from me.

You might admire Walker for turning traitor and supporting and fighting for those who killed thousands of our citizens on 11 September and have put us through hell trying to save civilization and protecting our freedoms. I don't.

guts to go over their and live up to his anti-American sentiments

How is this different than having the "guts" to, say, live up to your race hatred and go blow away your neighbors? Sorry, this is not my idea of guts.

Walker should be treated like the rest of the rank and file Taliban. Unless they can be tried for specific crimes they should be allowed to go free.

One thing I think would be a appropriate would be to have the letter "T" tattooed on their forehead and any woman they encounter in public is allowed to hit them a few times with a stick. If they relatiate against the woman, they should face immediate execution.

He didn't exactly pay his own way, he is nothing but a spoiled rich kid who was getting thousands of dollars sent to him from his stupid brainless parents. Let him be true to his beliefs, quit receiving money from the US and make it on his own in his beloved Islamic country. Let him wash camels for a living or whatever other kind of work he can find.

second...he gets respect from me for having the guts to go over their and live up to his anti-american sentiments...

we agree that the man should die of be severely punished.

i must take exception to your reasoning. i am willing to die for freedom. this man is willing to die for tyranny. our value systems are way out of whack and i cannot respect him.

Maybe he put his money where his mouth is, I just hope he puts a bullet where his brain is.

This man is already CIA, government property. He will be so until he dies, whether that is next week or in 50 years. He will sing when they want music. The minute his life is not worth anything to them, he will be found to have done something real dangerous. I doubt he will ever see the light of American day again, unless it is thru bars. Doubt he ever sees Marin County again.
