Arlington Resident Applying for D.C. Foster Child Has Waited Two Years.
An Episcopal priest asked an Arlington court yesterday to force Virginia to allow her to adopt a foster child from the District, contending that the state is stalling on her application because she is a lesbian.

Nowhere in the Bible have I ever read a positive spin on homosexuality. Nowhere in the Bible have I found any promotion of being gay. Jesus Christ instructed us to have pitty. Many people interpret that to mean that we should "love the sinner, not the sin". That's all well and good, but what part of that statement says to promote the activity?
Even their own studies show that children raised by homosexuals have problems adapting to normal 'gender' (as they call it) roles. How can they possibly believe this is a good thing?

As much as I despise the homosexual agenda, I don't believe Christians can support capital punishment for these crimes and remain consistent with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
I'm satisfied if we are simply allowed to ostracize such people and keep them out of our homes, our businesses (as employees, at least), and from positions of authority in our schools.

We know God works in mysterious ways. He was probably telling you that you needed to find a different church. Good thing you listened!

What penalty does God demand for Sodomy?
Leviticus 18:22 'You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination. NASB
Lev 18:29 "For whoever does any of these abominations, those persons who do so shall be cut off from among their people. Lev 18:30 "Thus you are to keep My charge, that you do not practice any of the abominable customs which have been practiced before you, so as not to defile yourselves with them; I am the LORD your God.'
There are certian sins that so corrupt the morals of society at large, that nothing but purging the sin from society can suffice.
We are all sinners, and we can never have a perfect society here on earth, but murders, fornicators, sodomites, adulterers, rapists, and the like should be punished with the death penalty. Their sick perversions should be purged from society, they should be looked upon with contempt.

Did I confuse you on that? I agree that Sodomy should be a capital offense. The Puritans had it right. In fact EVERY Colony had the Death Penalty for Sodomy.
You are refering to Lev 20:13.
Lev 20:13
If a Man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.
