How can we get to GW and tell him how to pronounce "nuclear"?

I hope this doesn't sound petty, but I just heard Bush say "nook-you-lar" for the word "nuclear" again and it makes me cringe every time he does it. I keep thinking that someone close to him will tell him how to pronounce the word. I always associate the mispronounciation of that word with Democrats, for some reason. Hey! Maybe that's why he does it! It's intentional; he wants the Dems to think he can relate to them!
Is there some way to get the word to him that he's pronouncing it wrong? Please don't flame me. I love our president!

I, for one, couldn't care less how he pronounces it.

The official pronounciation has now been officially changed, to the way G. W. Bush says it. Why? Because he is the President, and what he says goes, okay?

I'm with you. Not a biggie, but it makes him
sound ignorant and uneducated. The word is nu-cle-ar, not nu-cu-lar.

On Jan. 20 all the Texans in the WH informed the DC elite that "We don't have the accents anymore. Y'all do."

He pronounces it that way for strategery reasons.

Would it bother you if he mispronounced anything? Like calling the United States the "United Skates"? I'm not trying to be funny. I'm willing to accept that it's just a quirk of mine, but I'm not sure if I'm in the minority or the majority. I don't think it would hurt for him to learn the proper way to say it, even if most people don't care.

Why would you assume that he has not been corrected before, but, just doesn't think it's that important? He is, after all, married to a bright, and not shy, teacher/librarian.
To: cantfindagoodscreenname
Perhaps he should just call it "nukey".

Not a biggie, but it makes him sound ignorant and uneducated. The word is nu-cle-ar, not nu-cu-lar. Thanks, Dan. I kind of wanted to say that, but didn't know how to word it without making it look like I think he's ignorant and uneducated. Apparently, we're in the minority based on the response I've received so far.

This is too funny! My son also cannot pronounce "nuclear," or even "dracula." And he was born in England, educated in America. Maybe there's a speech teacher out there who knows?

Jimmy Carter pronounced it the came way, and he had worked on nuclear engineering projects.

RE#2 & 3
I for one would like to see him use it to level the
monolith @ Mecca. That might get the attention
of the Islamic Nation more than pronounciation.

Under Pres. Carter, it was nukier. Like "more nukey". Pres. Carter to Chmn. Brezhnev: "Hey Leonid! Our weapons are nukier than yours. Nyah Nyah Nyah.

I agree too, because it always catches my ear when he says it. It's a simple mistake that many say over and over, and can be corrected. Didn't Jimmy Carter say it that way too, though?
