Just announced on ABC Radio news at the top of the hour - FBI's 10 Most Wanted Fugitive was captured! No details yet
Like it or not, those are not invalid comparisons. They are very valid comparisons. Killing particular segments of society has been legal in other countries, many as of this very day. What would be your view if you lived in Nazi Germany in the late 1930's? Sudan today?
Legal only serves to hide your moral relativism.
Changing hearts is indeed teh answer; the plague we experience is due to a weak, apostate church during teh last 50 years. Howevere, that does not justify killing in th emean time.
Agreed! the caveat being the word "IF"
I'm still willing to give Waagner the benefit of doubt, and a trial by his peers.
However if he confesses or is found guilty of the anthrax threats...I'd volunteer to shoot him.

Women in that situation are an infinitesimally small fraction of the total number of abortions committed in this country. Using them as a justification for the wanton slaughter of millions of innocents is absurd, but it's exactly the kind of "logic" that the pro-abort forces want to see promulgated.
Killing various segments of society has been legal in a number of other coutries. Do you approve of the practice in say, Nazi Germany?
If "legality" justified something, then slavery was just fine too. The Supreme Court said so in Dred Scott.
For a little real logic, try this:
- Intentional killing of innocent human beings is murder.
- Murder is against the law.
- Abortion is the intentional killing of innocent human beings.
- Therefore, abortion is against the law.
Ooops, what happened there? : The Supreme Court decreed abortion legal by fiat, Roe v. Wade. A supremely illogical and evil ruling that will go the way of Dred Scott. And how will you defend murder then?
John Walsh on America's Most Wanted profiled Waagner repeatedly pre-anthrax letters. Waagner's stupidity came when he used the return addresses of the Secret Service and the FBI--along with the sheer number of letters he mailed (remember that they've put people in jail with extremely high bail for mailing just one fake letter--even as a joke). You can add in his bloated ego, which compelled him to brag about mailing the fake anthrax letters--on tape--to Neal Horsley and making sure Horsley got the information to the media ASAP.
He wanted publicity--and he got it. As far as Ashcroft and the Justice Department goes, I don't think Waagner claiming he wanted to shoot abortion clinic workers drove the investigation. It was being taunted by him that was his undoing.
However if he confesses or is found guilty of the anthrax threats...I'd volunteer to shoot him.
Given how many counts of bank robbery, hijacking, mailing the fake anthrax letters--plus the escape from jail, sentencing on his original charges--Waagner is going to be spending the majority of his time in court and at trial. When he robbed two of the banks--the one in Pennsylvania and the one in West Virginia--he didn't bother to cover his face. He's admitted to sending the anthrax hoax letters on tape and gave Neal Horsley evidence to give to law enforcement. If he's convicted, he's facing serious, serious time--but none of the charges carry the death penalty, as far as I know. If he's convicted, he'll be a lifer in the federal prison sentence.
I just wonder who's supporting his wife and eight children?
G.W. Bush is a zealot? Ronald Reagan is a zealot?
If they're zealots, then I'm proud to be one. What are YOU?
It's phoney RINOs who are the undoing of the conservative movement, like those who couldn't get GWB elected in New Jersey, even though the GOP held a majority of state offices there, and who worked against the election of Bret Schundler. Pro-aborts, like Christie Whitman, who'll never be elected to anything again.

and be a part of something that is larger than all of us.
Alone, we are a voice crying in the wilderness. Together we are a force for positive action!
Don't be left out!
Be one who can someday say..................... "I was there when..................."
Thank you to everyone who has already come by and become a part!
I know some pro-choice republicans who were quite comfortable with Reagan, because he talked a tough game on abortion, but never really did anything about it.
