All conspiracy breast beating aside - I was never ADAMANT as to the cause either.

If you will recall - AT THAT PARTICULAR POINT IN TIME we had very little real information of ANY kind.

But, WHEN did that ever stop a good conspiracy theory?

And, of course, ALL THOSE POSTS I made about THE ORIGIN and DISCOVERY of Anthrax have been *conveniently* forgotten (right?).

Ya know, if you're going to grouse about something, how about GROUSING about the predictions made by Lazamataz and others made Saturday about the STOCK MARKET tanking on Monday?

Did it tank?

No ... it was down some but it didn't tank ...

And where did it end today?

NYSE: up 129 points ...

Say - where were you on Y2K?

Did you 'dig-in' and 'hunker down' with a load of C-rations as a lot of the nuts did here on the board?

I made on offer at one point - at two-to-one odds at the start - that EVERYTHING would be OK just after just the clock struck midnight prior to January 1, 2000 ... and it was ... too bad I couldn't find anyone who would put their money where their mouth was ...

So you see, I have a fantastic track record for being right - even if I jave to say so myself.

And I do say so ...
