This is good news!
Maybe now the press will stop talking about it as a failure all the time. Sorry, I lost my mind for a second.

I was wondering about this today. This is great news. Did you send a copy of this report to Saddam?

I love this, though I bet you that the press will somehow spin yet another success into failure. Funny thing is, most of them live in the top cities on the "to nuke" list- NYC and LA.

"I can already see the hand-wringing and hear the groans from the democrats and the media." I doubt that you'll hear anything much, if at all...
If, on the other hand, it FAILED.... well!.... (you know my point)...

I watched ABC news last night, before the latest test. They stated that the tests had two out of four FAILED attempts thus far, not two out of four SUCCESSES! Nobody in the media or the Rat party believed in Ronnie Raygun's SDI, 'cept the Russkies! It was the beginning of their demise! God Bless Ronald Reagan and his beautiful wife and our great country! Semper Fi!

Sure is.

The EKV separated from its rocket booster more than 1,400 miles from the target warhead. After separation, it used its on-board infrared and visual sensors, augmented with the X-Band radar data provided by BMC3 via the In-flight Interceptor Communications System, to locate and track the target. Sensors aboard the EKV also successfully selected the target instead of a large balloon, which functioned as a decoy. Only system-generated data was used for the intercept after the EKV separated from its booster rocket. A C-band transponder aboard the target warhead did not provide any tracking or targeting information to the interceptor after the interceptor was launched.Sounds like the real deal. We'll hear a lot of whining from China & The People's Republic of California in the next few days.
