...Your Christmas Cards say "Happy Holidays. You have Anthrax."
I thought the Ashworth/Bush skit was pretty funny tonight. Any humorous additions to what they said?

For those who weren't watching, let me summarize: John Ashcroft addresses the nation talking about the war on terrorism. He quotes what Pres. Bush has been saying about how if you feed a terrorist you are a terrorist, if you harbor a terrrorist then you are a terrorist, if you make weapons of mass destruction then you are a terrorist....Then he lapses into other ones that sound like Jeff Foxworthy's "you might be a redneck" routine. Dubya shows up and says "Hey you sound like Jeff Foxworthy." Ashcroft says "Sorry" and Bush says "That's okay I like Jeff Foxworthy. Let me give it a try..." And so they go back and forth with the "You might be a terrorist" routine.
If you have a long beard and live in the desert and your NOT ZZ Top.... you might just be a terrorist.

Was that David Wells in the skit about the wives? Who else was with him?

Bush: "If the only way you know me is in the form of a burning manikin...then you just might be a terrorist"...about as funny as they've been in quite a while.....

SNL has been pretty funny in their opening "Live from NY" scenes where they imitate various administration officials. Their version of a Dubya speech to the nation after 9/11 was very funny as was the Cheney speech from his undisclosed location in Afghanistan. But the funniest was their take on a Rumsfield press briefing two weeks ago. Sadly, the rest of each show is pretty bad.

The re-run of an old SNL they are running has George Harrison in it..... sad to watch the old ones....so many have died...

That's funny. I've been conditioned to watch the intro and afterwards, turn it off.

From Top5.com's lists of:
Signs Osama bin Laden is Nuttier Than a Fruitcake
Claims that's him playing Gandalf in the "Lord Of The Rings" movies.
Tired of sleeping on cave floors, recently checked into a Kandahar Holiday Inn under the name "Ivan Toblowyup."
At parties, introduces his goat as "the old ball and chain."
Already writing musical satires for his new career as "Weird Al" Qaeda.
Chants the Batman theme whenever he enters or leaves his cave.
"Look! Sand and more sand, as far as the eye can see! And it's mine! All MINE!!"
Sign outside his cave: "Absolutely No salesmen or U.S.-led coalition forces
PLEASE!"

Yeah, me too. I always see the intro but then the rest can be pretty boring and/or stupid.
Speaking of stupid, I just noticed that I titled this thread "Whose's watching..." I guess I thought "who's" and my typing fingers didn't know whether to do "whose" or "who's" so I did a little of both. LOL. Oh well, I really do know better, folks (It should be WHO'S)

Oh. I thought maybe Whose was a person!

This was funny. I was hoping to hear Foxworthy with "You might be a terrorist" routine, but SNL did it justice too.
