Probably masterminded by Al-Qaeeda all the way, maybe with some 'official' backing. No US Militia groups necessary, just a misguided sell-out or two.
Remember, OKC came at exactly the wrong time for the 'Militia' agenda at the time. Investigations were slated for the Ruby Ridge and Waco debacles in Congress, and momentum was gathering for repeal of the 94 'assault weapons ban'. The BATF was looking at a black eye, at least, over both events, and the FBI had a couple coming, too.
It was to the benefit of the Clinton Administration to not have any foreign influence involved. (Whether that influence be Osama bin Laden or a West German named Andreas Strassmeier or both). That way any sympathy the American people may have felt toward the victims of Waco and Ruby Ridge would be lost in the flurry of media induced Orwelian hate aimed at the 'militias', gun owners, right wing radicals, and (even) non-mainstream church groups.
IMHO McVeigh was a patsy, and OKC was a Reichstag Fire.
Numerous attempts were made to bring the presence of as many as 4 'John Does' to light, including a dismissed grand juror and Congressman Key pushing for an additional investigation. Key lost the reelection bid, in part, over this issue.
The Federal Government pursued and promoted the one-bomb, one bomber theory.
The site has been destroyed, McViegh has been executed, and we are all safe, right?

...an FBI agent filed a complaint... Where? At the FBI's Complaints Office, using FBI form 966q, Why I Am Unsatisfied With my Boss's Work? If this is an active agent he must be planning to retire soon, possibly without a pension.
This doesn't add up, as reported.

See, I assume that a certain percentage of our militia crowd are a bit off the wall, but necessary to keep the government in line.
Given the tin foil hat percentage in that group, why is it so unthinkable that a smart terrorist couldn't feed into their mental problems and dupe them into taking help from Iraq?
P.S. no violence in posts. I still remember one of this group who wanted to come get me because I didn't want to stone gays, and sent me an email telling me so.

I think the media is just being smart by not aiding the people in learning how corrupt our gov't has become. Why start a revolution when you are comfortable as is?

This man may be planning on dying sooner than his Doctor thinks if he keeps messing around with the FBI and the ATF.

Yep, fabricating that sort of link is probably the only way that they can make hay out of these new developments. I'll remember that you said it first. Good call.

Or, the terrorist in Afghanistan could simply be making a note from one of his classes, that this formula worked well in the Oklahoma city bomb. What chemicals were used in Oklahoma city are pretty widely known. The fact that a much higher sensitiser than diesiel fuel (nitromethane), and the possibility that the bomb was made directional, make the government theory more plausible. Nitromethane would greatly increase the velocity and explosive power of the bomb.
Also, if you look at the pictures of the damage done at Oklahoma City and at the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia, the damage appears to be quite simular.

Sorry, but the facts don't support this. The one that is easiest to comprehend is: You have a concrete pillar that has steel rebar bracing inside of it. An explosion from one side will not cut this pillar into dust. It will break the concrete from it in large chunks. Too many pillars were destroyed for this to be an outside job.

The American media seems to show little interest in reporting a hair-raising new development in the Oklahoma City bombing. Author is an intern at Media-Accuracy? Sheez. Based on the evidence presented this story is ridiculous.

Sure it does. The FBI lab never tested a single molecule of ammonium nitrate or nitromethane from the Oklahoma City bombing. The only sample that they got from the site "disappeared" by the time it got to the lab.
The government's "theory" is simply an unfounded assertion, because there is no physical evidence to back up their claims. And as for the chemicals in question being "widely known," I suppose they are given the oft-repeated line that an ANFO bomb brought that building down. But as for physical evidence of an ANFO bomb, there isn't any.

I believe that Jayna Davis has nearly two dozen sworn statements from individuals who saw McVeigh with Middle Eastern men in the months, weeks and days leading up to the attack on Oklahoma City. The FBI has refused to accept the evidence, and the DOJ has gone so far as to prevent FBI agents from entering the evidence in a court of law.
Why? Because they don't want to have to deal with the fact that they are responsible for what happened on September, 11th. If they had done their jobs, rather than accepted Clinton's jaundiced version of events, a few thousand Americans would probably be alive today.
To: JohnHuang2
I always believed that the Oklahoma City bombing was a terrorist attack, perpetrated by multiple parties with differing interests, except for the one common interest of terrorizing our government and its citizens.
This belief has gotten me "flamed" on prior threads, as being a "conspiracy nut" -- same for my belief that TWA Flight 800 was a terrorist attack -- particularly when I criticized the Bush Administration and John Ashcroft for not doing enough to go back and properly investigate these 2 (and other) events, which occurred on the Clinton/Reno watch. By not doing so, Bush/Ashcroft will be considered as part of the cover-up, if they fail to diligently pursue new leads, or if they fail to report accurately and honestly, to the American public, about information already accumulated.
These are examples of the reasons I have little trust in the government or the lapdog, lying media.

According to the article in the Times of London on this discovered document in Kabul, the notation indicated that the explosive used in OKC was not a simple ANFO explosive, but included dynamite and nitroglycerin. If the notation was right on this point, Al Qaeda people in Kabul had information on the nature of the OKC explosive that was not available to the American public. Someone should inform Kellie Donovan (the author of this article) of that fact.
