The embargo has had a crippling effect on the Iraqi economy and caused shortages for the population. But, ol' Saddam has been able to rebuild 27 palaces so he can live in a new place every two weeks of the year!

Some official from Iraq usually makes an idiot statement every month. This month they've made about 4-5 such statements. Guess they're nervous. Heh Heh.

We should definately take his threat to Israel seriously. Not one innocent should be allowed to suffer from the ravings of this walking, talking scab. The biggest threat Saddam has is his modified Scud missles which have probably (May you burn forever in hell, Bill Clinton) been long since upgraded to carry Bio/Chem agents. We'll need to immediately insert SF teams to try to locate and identify portable Scud launchers asap. We'll also need to enlist as many of the internal opposing forces if we haven't already. Mr. Clinton was quite content to allow them to be annihilated over the past 8 years and I hope they're not too PO'd at us.

At any rate, I would openly welcome Israel's retalitory efforts in the event Scab-Boy launches an attack, but there are obviously many issues of protecting citizenry here at home and there before we turn Iraq into "New Texas".
