Breaking news out of Goodlettsville: investigators are on the scene at the Iowa Beef Processing plant, after an apparent shooting there Monday morning.
SWAT team members and negotiators have been called in.
Employees arriving at work at the plant on South Cartwright Street were not allowed inside. At 6:15 Monday morning, the Goodlettsville Fire Department called Metro and asked for assistance.
Emergency crews reported that one person had been shot five times, and another victim was possibly still inside the plant. After speaking with Goodlettsville police, we now believe there was only one victim involved.
Employees were evacuated from the building and herded outside into a parking lot, but they were not allowed to leave in their cars.
One victim was transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Goodlettsville police set up a road block at the plant gate, allowing no one in or out of the parking lot.
While police are not talking, News 2 has spoke with an employee from the plant who says a man was shot in a locker room inside the plant during shift change, and the gunman was still on the loose on plant property.

Holy cow! It's a steak out!

I think it should be more a matter of beef control and healthy indoor air...after all, our beef has additives, which were probably exuded from the beef inside the plant. They then went into the guy's brain, driving him nuts and causing him to shoot people.

Another (cow)ard with a gun.

Do you see what eating red meat does to people? I bet that employees at tofu factories affectionately hug during shift changes. The extreme violence in this case was because it was raw red meat.
