This thread isn't going to make it, but during the few brief moments while it is here, let me say that Harry Browne sucks. The slam on libertarians is too broad. Some, including some on this Board, are quite supportive of the national effort of self defense, and want the perps, and their support network, just as dead as most of the rest of us.

I gotta tell ya: I have never heard such utter nonsense in my life. If these people ever assume power, they will make Clinton look like a great defender of freedom and bulwark of morality by contrast.
Libertarians ought to be considered a national security threat by any member of the voting public. I have voted for Libertarians in the past (thankfully, now, never for President)--But never again!

Even I agree with your on Libertarians on this forum and I have been in disagreements with a lot of them on other issues! A large portion of them have been very supportive.
Question: Wasn't Harry Browne the candidate that kept appearing on Larry Klayman's radio show during the campaign? I know it was one of the small party candidates and I keep thinking it was Browne! If it was, he was a jerk during the campaign also!

A perfect example of why the "party" system is a farce and is just another dividing line that Americans are basically "forced" to be put in if they wish to be politically active.
I did not watch the interview, and this guy may be a nut case, but what does this have to with squat. At this point, your supposed to be insulted if your a libertarian and feel good if your a Republican (and of course you should always feel like vomit if you are a demoncrat :) )
A party system should be disolved and people are elected by their merits and their support and stand on Constitutional issues not their associations with political "parties".
This type of government intitiated slavery makes me want to puke.

Larry Eller the commentator and columnist, who is Libertarian and I respect very much, has taken issue with Brown and some of his stands lately in reference to the war effort.
I think we have a "bad" Libertarian here, and that's it ... problem is that this "Bad" Libertarian was their Presidential candidate so it reflects bad on their party greatly.

Conservatism has a strong libertarian thread throughout. We must not confuse some idiot who professes to represent the Libertarian Party, with libertarianism.
