Not long ago, my boss's boss joined a decent-sized crowd of people who deem me eccentric. I'd like to know why other FReepers are considered idiosyncratic (if you don't mind sharing).

I like to think that anyone who supplies a dead serious reply to this thread (like this one for example,) is a bit eccentric, to say the least. But then, I'm just a nermal cat.

I have been called weird or odd by a few people. They aren't saying I'm weird like the guy on the street who screams "Ants!" every few seconds, but just a bit different.

I honestly believe that when people say "Weird" they are really just indicating the lack of breadth and depth of their knowledge and sense of humor. I find it quite easy to jump from one subject to another because often I'm linking seemingly unrelated things in my head. However, from A to B, they don't see the interlocking chain, so it seems weird.

That and when you draw so heavily on the Simpsons and the dolts wouldn't know irony, deadpan, bizarre or cultural referent if it bit them in the butt, you're bound to get those kinds of responses. That and being a hip hop-, Star Wars/Trek-, Lord of the Rings-, Simpsons-, movie soundtrack-loving nerd who's fiercely pro-Freedom and possessed of a grand scope of knowledge will get you some looks :)

My teddybears are real and yes just happen to be FReepers.I am very organized and certain things I want a particular way.Thank goodness FallGuy is particular too and our likes and dislikes are the same.
