Are there any other FReepers that sell on eBay? I sell more than I buy, but I would like to "Buy FReeper" when I can. Post a link to your auctions here and we can support each other.

I will add you to the next list update. Some of us have auctions going all the time, and some are here and there. Better to be on the list than not.
Interesting niche market you have.

Hi, That's a great idea. I am dustibles on ebay and have been selling full-time since March 9,1997. I have never had a negative and have a positive feedback rating of 1647. I started with Golden Age comic books and now I specialize in old marbles and also am a glass designer at a glass studio that makes new marbles and paperweights.
I have been off ebay for a few months because of allergy and TMJ problems, but will start listing again real soon. Anybody that is into old marbles, feel free to Freepmail me. I have been a full-time dealer for about 8 years and am always happy to talk about marbles.
This is so cool.

Thanks for that info! I have been interested in starting to "sell" on Ebay and never knew how to go about it the best way. Any and all info (and tips) are apreciated, glad I found this thread. Once I start, I'll add myself to your Freep seller list :-)
p.s. also thanks for the bump list register, I've been looking for that. How do I know when I get pinged, though? Through that nifty new notification box that JR created? How did you all know before that box was available?

i've gotten some great book deals and am piecing together a motorcycle. it's so nerve wracking at the last few minutes as i've lost things by a lousy 25 cents! but that's the way it goes.
i do plan on selling some things in the future. (chrome 'leedy' shelly manne snare drum, nikon PB-6 bellows, hint, hint. lol!)

What I have done here is not allowed. Darn. A related thread was pulled. Oh well, it was a good idea, wrong place.

I buy on ebay alot. I have an old Lineville? toy car we've thought about selling but have no idea what it's worth. I guess that's more in the line of chasing down an appraisal.
To: Flyer
Hmm, what? why? LOL, it figures though, you want a thread to die just ask me to post to it. :-)

I posted our list on a new thread because this one was getting rather fragmented. Then I figured I should ask if it was okay. It was considered advertising which is not generally permitted.
I am composing a letter to Jim Robinson now, with the proposal that maybe those on the FReepBay list would contribute a small portion of their sales to FR.
THIS thread can stay. . . so far. I will let y'all know when I hear from Jim.

Would you be willing to contribute a small portion of your sales to Free Republic in exchange for Jim Robinson letting us post our FReepBay list?
I have a letter in to Jim now with the same proposal. I don't make a lot on eBay but I think having our list here would make it worth it.

We are waiting to see if FReepBay can become a permanent fixture here. In the mean time this thread is being allowed to stay. You can still FReep mail me if you want to be on the list, but until we get an okay (or not) this is where we stand.

Other than the nifty *Ping* box you can click on "Self Seach" at the top and bottom of these pages. For a bump list do a search [ to:"FReepBay" ] or whatever list you want to check. Or,
click here for the FReepBay posts.
