I just received a call from the producer of The Hannity and Colmes asking me to appear at 9:45 EST concerning The Mayor's Race in Houston Texas as covered on Sean Hannity's Radio Show today and the attempt by local Democrats to use James Byrd's Daughter as a weapon in playing the race card against The Hispanic Republican Candidate. I need a update from some of my Freepers in Texas about both candidate's maybe a picture I am trying to remember if Brown is blacks or not.

Wow, even the liberals have to have at least mixed feelings about that. LOL! Actually, I know better. According to them, a "Hispanic Republican" automatically loses all ethnicity and thus is not really Hispanic anymore. Ergo, it's perfectly okay to smear him as a slave-owning, hating, racist.

Lee Brown was the former police commissioner of New York City, and yes, he is black. He acted as police. comm. under Mayor David Dinkins, and was quite incompetant.

Yes lee brown is black, he was clintons drug czar at one point. basically he has done nothing but raise taxes and spend money while in office. therefore, one of the strongest economies in the nation, due to energy, has left houston in a budget shortfall, go figure. orlando sanchez, by all acounts is a strong conservative with a chance to win. feeling desperation brown has rolled out byrd's daughter to appear in a radio commercial stating that electing sanchez, a cuban american, is like electing hate. havent actually heard the spot, just the local news rehashing it. brown is playing the race card like few have in the paper and on tv daily. he really doesnt have anything positive to run on as mentioned above. i was hoping this story would go national and thus get greater coverage in houston so that we could all see what was being done and brown would appear as an idiot race-baiter. to bad i cant vote for sanchez since i live in the suburbs.
