Priest brings out CD of sex advice

A Swiss priest is urging his flock to have fun having sex.

Father Fredy Staub has even brought out a CD with his advice.

He says he wants people to know that the joy of making love does not clash with a belief in God.

Father Staub, the parish priest of Waedenswiler, said: "Sex is the coordinating point for

every personality. Anyone who leads a subdued sex life cannot enjoy life as such.

"And Jesus also talks about sex in the New Testament. Why should I avoid speaking about it?

"The number one issue in confessions is masturbation, and I am sure many more do it but are afraid to raise such intimate questions in the house of God."

On the CD, various people talk about their good and bad experiences with sex.

The stories include a man who regularly visits brothels, a monk about his problems with staying celibate and a girl who was sexually abused.

The 50-year-old's CD, entitled Have Fun Having Sex costs £5.

Don't worry. If this CD is anything like what the article suggests, this priest will soon be removed from his parish and deprived of his faculties to say Mass or administer the Sacraments by his bishop. Or, if not, he should be. This is not what the Catholic Church expects of priests.

I find it hard to believe he's an RC priest. A search for "Fredy Staub" and "Catholic" reveals nothing.

I think this is probably a deliberate attempt at deception by the Anglicans at Ananova ;)
