Society does not need to be reshaped, that is why we have the Constitution and Bill of Rights, that conservative republicans and liberal democrats have just got done trampling over, and by the looks of it, the trampling of rights is not finished.

In so many ways I agree with you. I love being a woman but am so disheartened by the voting tendencies of my gender. Truly the women's rights movement was a TERRIBLE thing for America and our children. Men don't respect women anymore and women don't care for their children. It's very, very sad. I am a proud stay at home mom who loves cooking and caring for my children. We were not meant to do it all. We were meant to raise productive, independent, honest members of society. Instead we are raising spoiled little criminals and look to government to fix the problems we have caused. Let's get back to true fiscal and social conservatism! God Bless

Libertarian and liberal are two different things, as you'd have noticed if you'd been here a whole week. What has "happened" is that FR is just as it has always been - contentious, free-spirited, and controversial. "Christian" conservatives don't own it, nor do non-Christian ones.
