OOHHHH...YOUR idea is WAY COOL!!!!!! Let's Roll....
To: JeanS
Only a crooked politician would try to kill legitimate investigations
To: JeanS
See? Bush should have fired her butt the day he took office while he still had a majority in the Senate. Now Leahy will kill any appointee who's not a liberal dem and who doesn't promise to let Hillay and Torri go free. Live and learn, W. I still love him, though.
To: JeanS
Time to turn up the heat. I wonder what Dashhole is offering?
I wouldn't settle for less than about twenty "guaranteed" judicial confirmations plus "future considerations"
(as they say in baseball parlance) such as a SCOTUS confirmation. The good kind.
Otherwise, bury the scumbags.
To: Miss Marple
I like your idea too! Appointing Rudy would shut both of the NY Senators up!
To: Miss Marple
"I still think that appointing Rudy Guiliani to replace her would absolutely shut them all up."
This is an awesome idea. The Dem senators in NY would definitely have a difficult time playing that blue card against him.

Apparently. I hope this is one thing that doesn't slide under the radar while we're all obsessed. It either has or will be. Clintons and cohorts skate.

Legal matters are for us "little people." Political matters are for the bigshots. Nothing to see here folks, move along.
To: Miss Marple
Total support here. Fantastic.
To: JeanS
Rudy is going to be looking for a job. This would be perfect, and he's qualified.
To: JeanS
Maybe Guliani would like to be a prosecutor. At least the Dems would have a tough time trying to tear him apart with his current popularity at an all time high.

I seem to remember that she may have been asked to resign, just weeks before 9/11. Since then, everything has been just forgotten.

Corruption reigns!
To: Miss Marple
PERFECT ...bring it on...the dems worst nightmare....that will teach them to get White to reign and suggest closing the investigations.....I wonder if the GOP leadership has the B@lls to do it....?
To: Howlin
Um, does this mean if a prosecutor dies, the "target" is innocent and/or free to go?Exactly. It's a sign from heaven that it's "time to move on". /sarcasm>
To: spokeshave
the B@lls to do itPink panty Lott has none. hehe
To: OldFriend
"Senator Torricelli is completely innocent, and Iam very optimistic that the investigation will soon be formally closed," said Wells, who has handled the gifts aspect of the case. ""Hey Daschle......KISS MY GRITS"

That policy effectively gives Clinton the ability to reject . . . any nominee to take over the office that is handling the investigation into her and her husband.Seems to me that the sinator should recuse herself. It seems like an incredible conflict of interest!
