Hillary's "appalling behavior" loses Dominick Dunne

[Excerpt from Dunne's latest Vanity Fair column:]
In 1999, when I was covering the impeachment of President Clinton for this magazine, I wrote about the appalling manners of Congressman Tom DeLay during Clintons State of the Union speech. I reported the smirk on his face and the fact that he didnt stand when the president entered the chamber. Well, fairs fair. I have stuck by Hillary Clinton through thick and thin, despite the consternation this caused several of my friends. But she lost me on September 20 with her appalling manners during President Bushs magnificent speech to Congress and the nation.
What was her problem? She looked mad and mean, with a scowl on her face and a hard glint in her eye. Her hand-clapping was tepid, and it appeared that she wasnt even listening to the speech. It seemed selfish of her to be caught up in her own concerns during one of the most united moments in the history of the country. I realized that night that this new president has strength, zeal, and star power. The government was swept away in patriotic fervor, but Hillary was pissed off, about what well never know. How strange, I though, the second time the camera cut to her, that a person who had lived in the public eye as the First Lady for eight years could allow herself to be caught in that mood.

I think she was pissed only because she had the revelation that it would be a very long time before she could hog the spotlight. I mean what with all those dead people, cops, and firemen stealing her press.

Borrowing your graphic, with apologies, it just struck me that Madame DeFarge, aka Hitlery, aka Broomhildabeast, appears to be drunk.
Do you suppose that's why the hired hep around the White House weren't allowed to look into her face?
I always assumed that the reason was that, like one who gazed upon Medusa, one glimpse and the glimpsor would be turned into stone.

Hi everyone. My very first post. But couldn't stand it any longer!! It has always been my thought that Osama bin Laden made the most greivous strategical error by not committing the 9/11 terrorist acts on Clinton's watch. He didn't know who he was messing with i.e., President Bush.BINGO (& good first post ...).

The sudden shattering of her presidential aspirations I'd like that too, but I've seen her since then and, unfortunately, her backside appears to be in tact.

Cole, and he was behind the humiliation of U.S. forces in Samolia while Slick was at the helm. It got so easy under Slick that I guess he thought he could do as he pleased. Bad mistake.

My thought is, he sees which way the wind is blowing and has changed his tuneDown here in North Carolina, we call that "trying to get in front of the parade." He is a SNOB.

Dunne, the fact that it took you so long to see the light speaks for itself. This reminds me of the Afgahn warriors switching back and forth between sides.

but Hillary was pissed off, about what we?ll never know. Her plans for The Peoples Republic of America are offically on hold.
She knew George Bush was doing some political broken field running and she was laying flat on her face some where way off in the backfield.

Thanks for your kind words. Everything about Hitlery gets my ire up. Nobody I have ever spoken to in my life likes her. How did she get elected?? Paid off Hasidic Jews, I know, I know, but just how many do you have to pay off? I don't think NY likes her at all either from what I see. Something always smelled fishy about her winning that seat. Just had to jump in tonight.

How strange, I thought, the second time the camera cut to her, that a person who had lived in the public eye as the First Lady for eight years could allow herself to be caught in that mood.Actually, he is correct there. I have to admit that even though most times I delight in their embarassment (or lack thereof), but don't you ever wonder HOW some of these political "errors" happen to two people who are suppose to be so politically savvy? I mean, it's like junior high school.
I mean, if I'm down here and you're up there and neither one of us is a "political hack," but WE can see that somethings would be an error, why can't those people who they PAY to keep them out of trouble see it?

Are you sure Clinton butt-boy Dunne wrote this article?
I don't think "pissed off" is even in his vocabulary.
Furthermore, it is difficult to believe he would ever use such a term describing his feelings towards HRC, he being such a suck-up to the Hildebeast.

...Of course, NONE of us gals bought that Vanity Fair 'cause of that pic on the cover, now, did we.....(wink wink)
To: ZDaphne
Methinks it was her aspirations going down the tubes. Mrs. Clinton, wasn't it your husband who pardoned terrorists? Mrs. Clinton, why did your husband send a couple of cruise missiles after OBL? Was it to get Monica out of the headlines? Would all those people from your elected state still be alive if your husband had successfully pursued OBL?
