My favorite quotes thus far into the campaign:

"I'm not gonna launch a two million dollar missile at a ten dollar tent and hit a camel in the butt" (GWB)

"It's like feeding an alligator so he eats you last" (Rummy)

"My first thought was what the Bush tax cut would do to the efforts to rebuild NYC" (Chelsea)

"My second thought was that I was glad my mom is a senator for NY so she can help the people" (Chelsea)

"Hey Osama, you can kiss my fat royal Irish butt" (Moran)

From Rummy, when asked by a news nitwit about what the American forces, in southern Afghanistan, where doing with the people that they stopped at the roadblocks - when we find someone that needs shoting, we shot them.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
-- John Stuart Mill

What a great quote. I am embarrased to say I don't think I had seen that before.

It would have been appropriate to recite to some "peace-nicks" who were in town yesterday to "protest" former Sec of State Albright's appearance at the U of NY @ Buffalo. (Think of that irony!) Thanks Ever.

Some self deluded fool said this at Georgetown University (name unimportant):

"This battle fundamentally is about what you think of the nature of truth, the value of life, and the content of community."

George Patton, by the way.

Oh yea. Good old "Blood 'n Guts" George.

"No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won the war by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."

Men like him won WW II.

"I'm a practical kind of guy. If you're going to help with financial investigations, then show me the money!"

(President Bush in the prime time news conference before he left for China

So many quotes worth repeating from these people....both elegant and folksy. I think I can already envision at least 4 movies from this war, and we haven't even really begun.

Oh...Rummy quote from today:

"I have seen drop orders for saddles, bridles, and horse feed."

Insignificant security guard being run over by Hillary's motorcade.

Do you remember the story about Rep. Tom Lantos-D, CA, who ran over a kid in D.C.???

God rest their souls.

That CNN quote takes the cake. The lack of common sense and the "blame America first" stance of the media is truly frightening. Thank God for the internet. Hopefully, Joe and Jane Six-Pack are beginning to see through the media bias.

Similarly, the motto of the AC-130 squadron in Afghanistan is: "You can run -- but you'll die tired."
