"Can't you just be normal and say "HI...how ya doin'"?' Ya know, how I say hello to someone is really none of your business, and I don't give a flying sex act what you like or don't like!

Actually, I sell a really potent, non-viagra, natural "stimulant" in liquid form that pumps up libido big time for both men and women. This magic juice also causes propinquity to blossom in a mere 20 minutes. After that, you're on your own (sort of). Now I'm trying to convince the wife to try it too, but she is not a believer. Now what?

I give hugs all the time in posts that are my friends when I feel like it and to get one back from a friend is wonderful.

Sungirl, I think life would be very sad to have to "try" and be cool all the time or even part of the time or any of the time.
I would rather just be myself and that is enough for me and much easier to be a real person then trying to be " cool" like a hippie or something.
COB1 is all man and if he give me a hug as a male friend I am glad to receive it from him as a friend.

Relax, Viagra is coming out in liquid form. Now you can literally pour yourself a stiffoneDon't forget to read the directions. If you don't swallow it quickly it gives you a stiff neck.

And if that doesn't turn your crank, Sungirl, then we can always ask Attila the Bun:

She's a cool meat eating bunny that doesn't give hugs!

Cool...might have been the wrong term to use here. I meant more 'conservative' or 'controlled' I think.

"I meant more 'conservative' or 'controlled' I think." And you think you should be admired for your "control"!
No, lady, you should be pitied if you can't enjoy the feeling of warmth associated with a big hug.
We give cyber hugs in an attempt to convey that feeling.
Coldness, or as you call it, "control", is not a prerequisite for conservatism or liberalism.
To perform the act of hugging, hold out your arms and grasp the other person, either mentally or physically, and allow them to do the same to you.
Press their body close to yours and feel the warmth flowing in both directions.
TRY IT!
You might like it!

I would never be caught writing 'hugs' on the internet.

And why do you associate coldness with control? Look those up. Hugging someone in real life on the spur is a whole different thing.

I love you to COB. Give me a hug, but don't mess up my hair.
