A wonderful tribute to those US Military Veterans who make our America the land of the brave and home of the free.

We all owe an immense debt of gratitude to all Veterans because the Freedoms we all treasure were paid for by the blood of Patriots!

BTW Did you see the Memorial at Arlington? VP Cheney gave a moving speech.

Thank you. It's just I worked so very hard for days - weeks, actually - collecting and sorting and cutting and pasting, and this thread meant so much to me, and it just kept timing out every time and wouldn't even "preview", let alone "post". It's here now, and that's what matters. :^)

I just printed this for my elderly WWII veteran neighbor, who still calls today "Armistice Day." He is very pleased to learn that FR is such a patriotic forum, "stocked with veterans, or 'true Americans'" as he refers to you all.
