And then, just when the country needed him most, it got a fantastic President. George W. Bush was introduced to the UN as His Excellency. Yes, he is!!! Yes. This is UN protocol, but it is kinda kool that is actually fits this good man. He is an excellent Commander in Chief. Don't think our President has EVER taken a popularity poll in order to determine 'what action to take' like someone we all know and disrespect did-that ol 'his majesty himself', rigtheous billy clinton, king of nothing but dumbed down liberals.

It was a great speech. No nonsense & FIRM & telling them to get off their duffs. I heard one talking head say afterward that they don't think an American President had ever given a tough speech to the UN like that. You can bet every one of those leaders there are talking about this speech over dinner this evening & many evenings to come.

rintense thanks for the Saturday edition of the dose.
The President gave an outstanding speech today at the U.N. I hope you all have a chance to see it.
Wphile: He even made a jab at how ridiculous the UN looks when it has nations known to be horrendous violators of human rights on the human rights commission.
This was great! I said, you tell 'em Mr. President!! I don't think the members of the U.N. realize who they are dealing with here. W is no Clinton, Thank God!!

I would love to see and hear this speech. If anyone sees it on the web, please post the link.
To: RummyChick
Don't you get C-Span? The speech is scheduled to replay on C-span in 29 minutes (11:30 EST) according to their website.

"It wouldn't surprise me if AOL/People are tweaking the survey in favor of the flabby, treasonous, sexual-harassing, bulbous-nosed kleptomaniac"
It wouldn't surprise me, either. It hasn't let me vote once. I wonder if I typed in Bubba's name instead of Bush's if it would let me vote? I'm not about to try it, because I'd hate to acutally cast a vote for (yeecch) Bubba!

LOL! It is okay as long as you (and I ) have seen the light now! The democratic party has changed tho from the old days, so I don't feel too guilty. I don't even recognize it anymore!

Yes, I get C-Span. Thanks. I want to see him in action while thinking thank goodness I don't have that boozehound sex addict for a President during this crisis.

Excellent points! The media insists on telling us constantly how wonderful a speaker Bubba is, how "smart" he and Hillary are, how talented etc. I have seen no evidence to support that, but they believe that if you speak it, it becomes reality. Truth be darned.(to put the old saying in a ladylike way)
President Bush wows me with his tell it like it is, no blowing smoke up our petticoats from him! I admire him all the more for that.
To: ohioWfan
If you can make it here by 8:15 a.m., sure! :-D
To: RummyChick; rintense

Thanks for the Rummy alert! I am there!

I love him so much! Just think, last year at this time we were suffering through that awful election mess. I thank each and every person who voted for this man.
He IS the best man for the job. He IS a gift to this country. He IS and WILL BE one of our finest presidents in our history!
To: ohioWfan
Yikes, ohioWfan... that's a slippery slope if you ask me. As much as I love President Bush, I could never call any man those things. Those are words I would only use to describe someone of a divine nature. But that's just me...
