Rush is the bravest, brightest media-man we have! Many FReepers like to FLame him while others merely bow to his impressive skill and knowledge. I choose to bow.

Actually, I woke up before Rush came on the air in Ct. I do think he is responsible for our knowlege base that conservatives have. However, I also think he is nothing but a party hack now. He is no longer critical of the GOP when they deserve it. He is a parrot for the GOP and nothing else it seems.

But, no one else tells it like he does, no one that is national like him. And, without him, Free Republic might have never gotten off the ground. He is the one that got us to Buy Compuserve, we outgew it, went straight to the INTERNET, then found FR. So, Hat's off to you, Rush, you are the one who got us all going!

The way Rush is handling his hearing problem is an inspiration. I am grateful that his voice is still loud, clear and powerful; even though he can no longer hear.

I pray that he'll continue to speak the truth for a long long time!
