The best terrorist is the one you don't suspect. What would prevent this guy from bringing a C-4 pack with a det cap on board? Or an itty bitty little old lady from doing the same?

Don't overlook little old ladies with blue hair either! It won't just be "swarthy, dark skinned people", the profile for now; it will be any type and all ages.

Stay with this story AlaskaErik.

I used to work pax service at Elmendorf. LOTS of retired came through. If you were bumped (rarely happened), then you'd be put on another flight easily. We never had a backlog. Dependents can fly from overseas (Elmendorf is considered overseas) to the lower 48 with with their sponsor (first destination only). Dependents can't fly from CONUS TO CONUS. It was always very busy. Better than catching hops our of Travis or Norton.

What? The dates of his leave paper work fudged? Old orders with dates changed so he can be a CAT 1 passenger than a CAT 3? I doubt this has to do anything with al Queda or bin Laden.

So is he one of those that encouraged folks to stock up on stuff just before Y2K???? LOL!

I remember when my sweetie brought home a 5 gallon bottle of water a week before Y2K, and I looked at her and said "Hey! What's this? I paid the water bill." She was taking precautions in case there were problems. . .
