CHELSEA CLINTON was among a group of American students which disrupted an anti-war meeting in Oxford, it was revealed last night. Frustrated at anti-American feeling, the daughter of the former President arrived at the 500-strong meeting in Oxford Town Hall with a dozen friends who heckled speakers. Miss Clinton, a postgraduate student in international relations at University College, Oxford, her fathers alma mater, has confessed that she is feeling isolated and threatened by the mood she has detected at the university. She found it difficult encountering anti-American feeling from peace demonstrators. As soon as last Thursdays meeting, organised by the Oxford Stop the War Coalition, began, members of her mostly American group shouted patriotic slogans from the back. Speakers were prevented from continuing after other young Americans approached them and unfurled a Stars and Stripes flag. Chris Harman, editor of the Socialist Worker, said: When the group turned up I thought, oh no, were going to have some rugby-type fracas, but luckily it was nothing like that. The flag-bearers were eventually sent back to their seats by a 76-year-old American woman called Barbara, an Oxford resident. Katy Beinart, a student CND member who spoke at the meeting, said that Miss Clinton had arrived making a lot of noise. When John Haylett, editor of the Morning Star, began to argue that the media had failed to consider the effects of the bombing on Afghan civilians, Miss Clinton and her friends called out that he should remember the victims of the terrorist attacks on New York. Mr Haylett responded that such meetings were the only way to put an alternative viewpoint to that portrayed in the media. Miss Clinton left with her Secret Service bodyguards shortly afterwards, stopping to buy a copy of the Morning Star from a vendor, and making yet more noise, according to Ms Beinart. It was a shame that Chelsea Clinton felt the need to interrupt a peaceful discussion with what I felt were inappropriate comments, she said. Speakers at the meeting, including the MP Jeremy Corbyn, said yesterday that Miss Clinton took their comments too personally.
Which means that Chelseeee had SS protection on 9/11. Did they also roam the streets with her? If she had SS protection on that day there's NO WAY they would have let her wander all over the place in NYC on 9/11.
Somebody is lying. But then, with the clintons, it's a way of life.
Give me a break....she's a headline hog like her parents.
can you say Mommy and Daddy??
Hey... she knows a little about what it feels like to FReep someone!! Closer than I've gotten at least!
....Mrs. President doesn't seem to be able to moderate her behavior even when she's amoung friends. A senior permanent employee, who I knew to be a strong supporter of the Clintons, had looked forward to meeting her. He held a position that ensured tha some day he would. One day he saw Hillary Clinton walking in his direction down a corridor in the OEOB. She looked in no particular hurry so he thought it might be a good time to say hello. She approached with her Secret Service agents walking several paces behind her.
Working up his best smile, he said, "Good morning, Mrs. Clinton". She stared right through him. He told me it was as if she had "pierced his skull with laser beams".
My freind still works at the WH, and I cannot use his true name for very obvious reasons. He has a family to feed. But he told me he recovered and walked down the hall, dumbstruck. He knew Barbara Bush: that day he learned that Hillery Clinton is no Barbara Bush.
Another staffer, also permanent, witnessed the event from her cracked office door and approached my friend.
"John, I guess you didn't get the word?"
"What word?
"When Queen Hillary walks down the hall, you're not supposed to look at her. You're actually supposed to go into an office if there is one nearby. She doesn't want staff "seeing" her. And I know she sure as hell doesn't want to meet you or any other staffer!
"You have to be kidding me!
"No we got the word in a staff meeting. It's true. Look around. Do you see anyone else in the hall? John looked around, and sure enough people were starting to emerge, like prairie dogs peeking out of their burrows after a hawk had flown past.
My partner Dennis had a similar experience. In February 1993 he was walking to the Residence to interview Head Usher Gary Walters about a new employee. He saw Hillary coming from the opposite direction. She was carrying a box that appeared to be heavy, and she was about to come to a double door that would be hard to open, even if she was not carrying a heavy box. He noticed the SS agents making no effort to assist her. He stepped forward to help, but a Residence staffer close enough to Dennis to whisper without being heard by "Queen Hillary" said "Don't!"
When Hillary was safely away, the staffer told Dennis that Hillary insisted that no man should assist her in any way.
Another close source, this one in the SS, told me that Hillary had ordered her SS protective detail to "stay the F--k away from me!" and to keep at least ten yards of distance between her and them at all times.
This SS agent told me that it was much harder to protect her from a distance of ten yards, and that she was told this, but she didn't seem to care what the SS said. He also told me that it was obvious that she had a clear dislike for the agents, bordering on hatred, in his opinion.
Along those same lines, another source reports that two SS agents heard Hillary'S daughter Chelsea refer to them as "personal trained pigs" to some of her friends. When the friends had gone, the senior agent on the detail tried to scold Chelsea for such disrespect. He told her that he was willing to put his life on the line to save hers, and that he believed her father, the President, would be shocked if he heard what she had just said to her friends.
Chealsea's response?
"I don't think so, That's what my parents call you."...
Yeah, she could change, just like Bill and Hill. /satire
LOL! I guess Mr Haylett has been watching only Fox News lately (/sarcasm off) because the other networks, namely CNN, have been focusing mainly on the "civilian casualites in Afhanistan"!
They have officially broken the ole fire exstinguisher! Chelsea!
She still has some time left.
Maybe being an American actually means something to her after all. And she is a fellow American, despite the differences we have had with her father politically. If she stood up to those British anti-American socialist bastards, then my hat's off to her.
Whoa! a Daisy Cutter post <grin>.
The nannies were socialists? I don't think Hillary or Bill were ever around Chelsea much especially when she was very young and it always seems their times together were just for the photo-ops. I wonder if she's even Hillary's child or could she have been adopted? I've never seen a picture of Hillary pregnant. Anyhow I don't think she's that much like her parents, the one more like them is Karenna Gore.
You are a babe, Veronika...!
