and in acknowledgment that his actions merited censure, former President Clinton agreed to the suspension and fine," Kendall wrote Friday. His actions merited censure.....????
HE LIED UNDER OATH! HE COMMITTED PERJURY!
Of course he'll try to rewrite history in his 'Taj Mahal Libary' but Ray's & the Supreme Court's actions are now on record for history!
Do you remember that not one Justice of the Supreme Court attended his last State of the Union Address? I wonder if even the liberals couldn't ignore his blatant disregard of the Law & the Constitution he had sworn to uphold?

Personally, I'd like for Clinton, both of them, to be fighting every single thing in court.
By now, the donations into their legal defense funds are drying up, and its good to milk these bastages of their funds and give them to their lawyers.
Who would have thought? Lawyers are actually a higher life form than the Clintons.

They should give him a bronze sink as a parting gift.

Don't recall exactly but when this first began an ABA or other regulation was changed allowing nonlawyers to be partners in law firms. The freeper consensus at the time was that the change was specially designed to help Clinton should he lose his law license. I probably have this garbled. Anyone remember the exact details?

I notice that they did this in typical clinton style - waiting till the end of the week on a Friday. Each time they had bad news to put out, they tried to do it on a Friday or to bomb an aspirin factory.

I'm surprised that my sharp-witted fellow FReepers haven't figured out the punch line yet. He's only "resigning" to avoid disbarment.
The difference? If Clinton is disbarred, he will never again be eligible to be admitted to the Supreme Court bar. He will resign now, avoid the stain of permanent disbarment, and be READMITTED under sponsorship of a sympathetic liberal Democrat sponsor at a latter date. He will reminisce about the bad old days with a good ol' boy chuckle, perhaps ten years down the road, and DECLARE VINDICATION, as well as victory.
As an aside: Democrats (and other leftists fellow travelers) never quit. They execute tactical retreats. It's the GOP sheeple who go sleeping at their proverbial posts, allowing the retreating Democrats to advance forward to seize victory from the jaws of defeat. Never drop your guard, nor turn your back on a Democrat.
FRegards to all.

How sad for William the Impeached. Maybe he can become the owner of a strip club. Maybe he can become partners with Larry Flint. Oh the possibilities for the most moral president in the history of America < /sarcasm >
