Actually, the October 15, 2001 cover of National Review has the words "Let's Roll" in about 1" high red letters.
To: George W. Bush
Think it's possible to bump him? I dunno but I'll try...
Hey W, look over my brother's service record and promote his butt... he can waste terrorists like few others can but his pay sucks...

The Lord is giving this nation one lastr chance to turn from our wrongs, now let's hold George's feet to the FR fire for the reforms we see as vital to our survival as a nation of life and liberty. what we write cogently gets to the WH, you can be assured of that. we want reform in abortion rulings, in reduced governmental controls, in ... well, Freepers haven't needed someone to speak for them before, so LET'S ROLL! Tell the man what you seek!

Who was the Clown on ABC who quoted President Bush "My fellow Americans, Let Us Roll."
I was flicking through the channels and caught that, I don't know if it was Jennings or Brown Cow, how to you tell the two apart?
To: TheAngryClam
I enjoyed nearly all of the President's speech, especially his tribute to Mr. Beam.
What continues to upset many Christians is that he is maintaining the lie that Muslims are good, decent, peace loving people who worship God as we do, and calls them "people of faith."
I know he's not a Christian, but is a Methodist, but certainly he knows there is only one God and His name is Jesus Christ, not Allah.
God has no Fornicating-Psychotic-Prophet named Mohammad. And there is only one Word of God, and it's the Bible, not the man made Koran.
Certainly he must know these things, yet he continues the lies. Why?
Is he afraid of offending other Mid-East evil doers in which he wants America to continue to purchase oil from?
From what I understand, we are able to produce our own.

Methodists are not Christians?!Are we talking about the same President here? He's very open about his faith in Christ and by most definitions that would make him a Christian. Ever read his book, A Charge to Keep? You might consider doing that ....

Ya think I could get a message to that secret service guy that follows him around? The real tall blonde one? You think he lurks here? I pray for him all the time and I wish he knew. Not nessessary, however. . .

Ummm.....................well, ya know there, Lilly.............where do I start??............Let me give you the benefit of a doubt here. You're probably not a bad person, nor are you probably as dim as this suggests. Therefore, I'll just ask that you go back and carefully re-read what you wrote, think about it for a second or two, and then maybe post an "expansion" on your previous reply, ok?

What continues to upset many Christians is that he is maintaining the lie that Muslims are good, decent, peace loving people who worship God as we do, and calls them "people of faith."
Many Muslims are good, decent and peace loving people, but Bush never said they worship God as Christians do. 'People of faith' is a generic statement meaining only that a person has stron beliefs. 'Faith' is not a word exclusively for use in referencing Christians... it just means 'strong belief.'
I know he's not a Christian, but is a Methodist, but certainly he knows there is only one God and His name is Jesus Christ, not Allah.
Methodists ARE Christian!!! So are Catholics, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Baptists, etc.
God has no Fornicating-Psychotic-Prophet named Mohammad.
You're right, our God doesn't, but Allah does have a prophet named Mohammad. Bush never said anything about agreeing with their faith.
And there is only one Word of God, and it's the Bible, not the man made Koran.
You're right, but Bush never said the Qu'ran was the Word.
Certainly he must know these things, yet he continues the lies. Why?
He hasn't continued any lies. Only those putting words in his mouth are lying. Why?
Is he afraid of offending other Mid-East evil doers in which he wants America to continue to purchase oil from?
No. He is the President of the United States, and that means he is the leader of a country which acknowledges the right of people to worship freely. That means he is the President of all Americans, Mormons, athiests, Baptists, Pentecostals, Lutherans, tree-worshippers, Muslims, Roman Catholics, Jews, and even those you don't like. Citizens are all equal before the law, whether you like it or not.

Would you rather he lambast the religion and pave the way for a open civil war in our own country?

LOL.....exactly what I was thinking! That was the most ludicrous statement I have heard in awhile. But I wish not to be cruel so a rephrasing would be nice.
