I'm not a Methodist (members of my family are, though), but when did the memo go out kicking them out of the Christian faith?

I don't know, but I'm in trouble. I'm a Lutheran who just graduated from a Methodist seminary. Now, my diploma doesn't specifically mention "Christian" but I assumed... Wow, I hope the Lutherans (assuming they are Christian) will "grandfather" me in. YIKES!!!
