So the airstrip is not being used as far as we know? Good. I must have missed that in the report on the news last night. I recorded it, just haven't gone back to watch it again. It would seem to me that if they were using it they could do as the above post says and fly people in an out without being detected.
Small planes don't have to necessarily file a flight plan do they? Or maybe they do now after the attack?

I'm telling you what I know first hand. The airstrip hasn't been used in at least 15 years, maybe 20. Synanon lost their permit for it and they actually built a number of buildings along the strip and used it as a road. It may be possible for a small plane to land there, but it would have to be careful of the buildings on one side. No plane is going to land there without being noticed. It is not a place where small planes fly around. If one came in a lot of residents would hear it and see it.
