our stolen technology, or the technology that they were 'given' or 'bought' from us" to develop a sophisticated delivery system. We all know it's Clinton who did this

More importantly, how do you do the color fade on the font? Very cool.

Not to take away from your post - sorry, but the font fade is pretty impressive.

protecting the general public from radiation apparently is not part of the equation. However the politicians, and liberal socialist have forgotten one thing. When the taxpayers are gone they will have no one to tax, and no one to rule over, so you don't have to worry about getting nuked. We will have all chiefs and no indians then.

We've pretty much known there are no provisions for civilians, for a long time now.

The secret to survival of a nuclear attack was known and implemented in the 50s, then discarded. Does everyone have their fallout shelter stocked up?
What fallout shelter, one might ask.

present at every nuclear test, including the "first nuclear detonation, the first air drop, the first balloon carry to the first undergroundThe first balloon carry ... now that's a scary thought that I hadn't considered for an enemy to deliver a weapon.

Wow, what news. You heard it first, hear at FR.
Actually, I always figured I'd be perfectly safe if I headed for me old grammas house. She keeps a lotta cheese in the cellar.

...fallout shelters in "all 50 states" were stripped of their supplies (water, food, blankets) and equipment (radiation detectors) more than five or six years ago." If my math is correct, this author is talking about the CLINTON ADMINISTRATION. Check his house in Chappaqua -- lots and lots of boxes were delivered there, the dirty RATS.

It has been my understanding (perhaps mistaken) that the cheese hats worn by half the residents of the state of Wisconsin provide effective protection against some levels of radiation and against smaller explosions (tactical nukes?) of nuclear devices.

That font color business sure adds a lot of HTML code.

Well forget where to go, what the hell would I wear for a Nuke Attack? Would a tux be too much? I think I have the perfect cumberbun...

First of all, lot's of people WILL survive a nuclear bomb explosion. If they survive the blast and heat, that is. Most of the heaviest particles (alpha & beta) have very short half-lives. If you're too close to ground zero, the x-rays and gamma rays are pretty bad and you well could die or get severe radiation sickness, but many dozens of miles away from the blast zone there won't be a big exposure. Because the most radioactive particles are heavy, they should fall downwind of ground zero with 25-40 miles. Outside of this zone one can protect themselves by wearing heavy clothing, staying indoors with the windows shut, and and eating food that's protected (cans, boxes, shrink-wrap) for a few weeks. Water is what you need to have IN THE HOUSE BEFORE it can be contaminated. If you don't have any, water from COVERED sources will probably be ok.
I say this as a VERY WELL trained USAF Disaster Preparedness NCO who dealt with this for a number of years. Also, I'm a red-zoner, where a terrorist attack by nuclear means is very unlikely. In the even of a nuclear attack, I will house bona-fide FReepers from the Blue zone at no charge. No DEMOCRATS! :->

Is there no end to the damage this piece of trash has cost this country? And no cost will ever be required of him on this earth, he's free to pick up dumb blondes at cocktail parties with his, "I would handle a war better", line.

While U.S. political leaders are prepared to survive a nuclear attack, protecting the general public from radiation apparently is not part of the equation. That's homeland defense working for you.
