This just was announced on the news in Boston. To the complete puzzlement of the leftists of Cambridge.

Yo, Terrorists. We've wised up to the Rider truck thing. Now go back and ask for your deposit back like a good little soldier.
Surely if they have the license plate, the FBI has already tracked down where it was rented from and by whom.
To: BansheeBill
Doesn't sound terribly effective, even if they were successful.

The van then sped off. The FBI is asking for anyone seeing the van with possible license plate of 4789H7 to contact Police or the FBI. Anyone do a search on this license plate yet? I know that here in Texas you can pay through the net to get details on the owner of a vehicle. Would at least show if the vehicle was a rental.

Is there a Sbarro's pizza place at that mall?
To: BansheeBill
When the back doors of the van were opened by security personnel, there were 6, 55 gallon drums duct taped to the vans walls along with gas type cans also taped to the walls.
Duct taped? A few 2x4's nailed in place would have been a lot easier.

i'm listening to the Mass. state police scanner and they just reported they think they have the van in sight on hwy 133 (i think) with OK license plates.

Boston has the newest big bridge in the country. Weird looking thing, like a sail boat.
To: BansheeBill
How the heck did the van just speed off. What kind of bozos would search a truck from the rear without leaving someone to guard the driver.
Oops, sorry, I just realized this happened in Cambridge, MA. enough said.

Get real ...

If the driver was reported as wearing scuba gear I'm betting this was Kennedy...

Nothing to do with this thread, but I don't want to start one. The Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper got a bomb threat this afternoon. The bomb squad, as of 30 minutes ago, was still searching. Nothing about this on the local news. (A person I know who works there told me.)
To: BansheeBill
Wait a minute, how can you duct tape a 55 gallon drum full of anything to the wall of a van? I suppose I'm ready to believe something like this might be true, but in this instance it just doesn't sound right.

How could anyone get away in a Ryder truck?

I was planning to go to a mall east of here (and west of Boston)tomorrow. Before I park, I think I'll mosey on around the back to the covered parking to see if I can see any Ryder trucks. If so, I'll wait til later to do my shopping!

Description of driver?

Just another CIA prank.

This is such a great thread! Two things. First, F5 works just fine with Netscape 6.1. Thanks for the reminder...
Second, I saw the post (somewhere in the late 100's or 200's) about the guys arrested in Findlay & Lima - working at a kiosk in the mall. Does anyone but me find it peculiar that LIMA is where they're going to do the sterilization of the anthrax mail - and the trucks?
