For those who are interested, I have a couple of pages up on the WTC attack as experienced from my home south of Brooklyn Heights. The attack photos are here, but the real attraction is at a different page, one I call Brooklyn's Finest Hour.
It's running off of a home server, so forgive the slowness. If you need a little dose of patriotism, I hope this helps. Share and enjoy.

If you couldn't see it before, try it again -- XO's network went down for the weekend, but it seems to be back up.
Thanks for the encouraging words.

I recall visiting many cousins in Greenpoint when I was a child. They have all moved away now to LI, Staten Island, & upstate NY.

Loved your tribute, neighbor. I live in Downtown Brooklyn, across the street from where the Brooklyn Bridge walkway starts.

Oh yeah? I'm about a 15-minute walk away from you, down Smith Street. ;-)
As a Southerner, it's been hard for me to love New York. But it's been easy to love Brooklyn!
