Many mainstream news media have failed to report that some of the more prominent heroes of the Sept. 11 attacks were gay. The omissions lead readers to believe that these people were heterosexual.

How relevant is it for journalists to mention someone's sexual orientation in not only this story, but all stories? How does it affect the context of the story by reporting someone's sexual orientation?

That's it....we need congressional action requiring that anyone mentioned by the media in any story must have their sexual orientation listed after their name. Now *there's* an idea!!! ;-)

Not only would identification reveal the true 2-4% figure for homosexuals but it would also reveal their disproportionate representation in government offices, public health departments, public schools, etc.

When you talk about "born again", are you talking about reincarnation or the Christian concept of being born again through Christ? Also, I was a bit confused about your choice of the words "opposite sex of an homosexual". Did you mean "opposite sex" as in sexual preference?

ONe of the three guys who is known to have been involved in attacking the hijackers (Bingham, the rugby player) was gay.

Actually, questions have come up as to whether or not Bingham was involved or not. The only confimation of his involvement that I've been able to find were reports that he told someone of the phone that some of the guys were going to try something. He never said he was one of them.

GLAAD and similar organizations immediately grabbed onto the possibility that he had done something and try to repeat it into an accepted reality. That was nothing more than part of their ongoing attempt to normalize their chosen perverted behavior.

Don't let them fool you.
