I've been collating a lot of information over the last few weeks and have a suspicion about a highly probable next major attack. First off, attacking bridges just aint their style. not enough financial impact in that. At least not at the Stock market level. Now if you want to know what they like, they like to short stock and destroy S&P businesses. We still don't have an answer to stock manipulation on the short side. It's not really that manageable. Too many outlets to cash out.
The Al Queda are sophisticated in their theory of how to destroy America and it involves destroying America's economic base. They like to watch the stock market lose value, one sector at a time. My guess as the likely target factoring everything I have read and heard is this:
Involving Southern Florida --> check
Involving multiple aircraft (one is bound to get through air defense) --> check
Involving aricraft bought in the bahamas (not traceable like US sales and there have been missing aircraft) --> check
Involving tanker truck or hazmat --> check
Involving spent plutonium --> check
Involving a heavily traded S&P stock -->check
Involving Bert and Ernie connection --> check (yes it isn't a direct connection but if it was, we would be on defcon 5 for the area I am thinking of). Think kids check
I hope our government is patrolling the atlantic skies off southern florida in a huge way. I also hope they are protecting Disneyworld. I could see 3 or 4 small planes and a couple of trucks causing a pretty big ash cloud with plutonium mixed it. Imagine the psychological damage caused by making Disneyworld uninhabitable for about 10 years.
Not the mention the sackful of short money they would make out with. These monsters want to use our systems against us.

yeah, but this is not exactly the hight of tourisim for disneyworld anyways, is it???

Nah, this would cause major, major nuking over there. They don't want to do anything that will cause us to nuke. They surprised us with WTC and it took time to respond, in their favor. With time, heads got cooler. Now if those guys do anything to a bunch of kids at Disneyworld especially involving nuclear waste, there would be no doubt as to the response. And crying kids in afghanistan wouldn't make a bit of difference.

You don't think London is next up? Who cares about Florida? I say either heartland, major west coast city or London. Hopefully, this will provoke the required tactical nuclear response. Let's roll.

Maybe for Thanksgiving week when a lot of schools are on vacation for the whole week, plenty of people traveling that week.

Check--->The tin foil-hat supply.
I think your watching way too much X-files.
Disneyworld certainly could be a target. But, I think blowing the four major bridges in Kalfornia would have a much larger impact on several levels.

nukes are not an answer. The high cost of life/damage to the environment, not to mention the innocent poulation is entriely too high to consider.

I understand that they're mixing their anthrax with Palm Beach County ballot chads :o)

I don't know about this as a great idea for terrorist groups of global reach. Disney stock already took a pretty good hit after WTC911.
Stay alert, but not fearful. Keep an eye on those characters in the park that wear full-body costumes. Don't make any quick moves, Mickey.

where do you go for thanksgiving? I usually go home, as do 90% of the rest of america. Thanksgiving is typically a homecoming, not a weeks vacation to some dingy tourist trap.

I think you may be on to something with the cropduster/plane angle. However, I think the west coast is probably right.
I just can´t stop thinking about those four backpackers here in Phoenix with the bright orange backpacks chanting at 4am on top of Squaw Peak...

Well, if they kill a bunch of our kids at a huge theme park, the cost to the environment, over there, won't be primary if you ask me. Now alot of tactical nukes would do the same thing without quite the environmental problem. But nukes sure ended WWII nicely in the Pacific.
To: cajungirl
yeah then the cold war happened, then people saw the aftereffects of nukes, then treaties/bans were signed. Launching a bunch of nukes over to afhghanistan would have a high human, innocent toll.

OH I'm taking that one!!!!
To: reality bytes
they could really care less if they kill a bunch of people. They want our money. They short S&P co's and try to destroy them. It's their modus. The plutonium angle and taking our leisure icon away would be a huge tactical victory.
Remember Atta's red hands. Remember the missing planes. Remember the "south" warning. I got a "manhunter psychic" feeling about this one.
Oh and thanks for the tinfoil seal of approval! I kinda hope the FBI or someone looks at these "crazy posts".

"Nah, this would cause major, major nuking over there."
Have to wonder, if the Ben Laden types got actually got their evil, slimy hands on a nuke, wouldn't their best bet be to set it off in Kabul and blame us? It is clear that they consider the Afghans to be just cannon fodder for Allah, and it would certainly set things off in the ME in a big way.
