nukes are not an answer. The high cost of life/damage to the environment, not to mention the innocent poulation is entriely too high to consider.

Well, if they kill a bunch of our kids at a huge theme park, the cost to the environment, over there, won't be primary if you ask me. Now alot of tactical nukes would do the same thing without quite the environmental problem. But nukes sure ended WWII nicely in the Pacific.

In a broad general sense, of course. But tactical nukes, spread out over the optimal time does very little. In the end, this will be the only way we can get bin laden or risk thousands of US deaths trying. Sooner or later, this will come to pass.
