I think it was about a dozen. They also seem to want to suppress that gruesome picture of all those poor souls sticking their heads out of the windows. People also made it to the roof and were awaiting helicopter evacuation. Poor people!!! Also, exactly how many children were killed. There had to be day care centers in the WTC, right, or children in the restaurant? For victory & freedom!!!

I'm sure it was far more than a dozen, just consider everyone on the floors above the plane's impact had no way down, and those pictures are only of one small section of a building, how many more were on other sides on how many floors?
I also understand that many were pulled out of those windows when the windows broke, so not all of them jumped. I know that if there were pictures of dead bodies from our bombs there would be no hesitation on the part of most of the news media to show them.

I've heard (and I pray that it's true) that the child care centers were located on the lower floors, and were the first to be evacuated.

I' ve never heard of there being a day care center in the Twin Towers. Only the federal government (see Murrah Building in Oklahoma City) does stuff like that. I think most of the children killed were passengers on the planes. Thank God it wasn't "Take Your Daughter To Work" day.

I thought it odd, that I've heard no mention whatsoever of children. Guess I should know better by now.

eople also made it to the roof and were awaiting helicopter evacuation Are you sure about this? The reports Ive heard was that the door to the roof was locked to prevent suicides and such. It was also thought, after the 93 bombing, that a roof evacuation would be impractical.

The
Newark Star Ledger ran a story 2 Sunday's ago that covered a mother's search for her 2 children in the WTC day care. Unfortunately I can not dig the link out of their free archive. It was posted on FR but I can't find it here either despite multiple search engines.
The day care center was located in Building 5. The teachers scooped up the kids right after the first plane hit and headed out with some of the infants placed in shopping carts. The two groups were split up but all the children were eventually safe and sound at St. Vincent's Hospital.

They kept this too sanitized. That is something that the muslim community have been able to exploit to their advantage. Show their pictures and censor ours, and then wonder: how long will it take to show a change on the public opinion?
At least the children in the hospital beds had the chance to survive. That is not so with the thousands that were torn to pieces or burnt into oblivion on the east coast on 9/11.

People also made it to the roof and were awaiting helicopter evacuation. Poor people!!! I had heard that no one was on the roof because the access from inside had been blocked so as not to invite jumpers, stunt people etc. I'd heard that there were helicopters looking for people, though they'd had no orders to go in.
I would have thought it would be too hot from the burning fuel going up any elevator shafts, etc.

There were 8 children killed. All passengers in the planes.

They (the anti-American press) suppress the pictures of what really happened in NYC, but they want to show the bodies of those killed by Americans in Afghanistan. I hate the fvcking press.

They also seem to want to suppress that gruesome picture of all those poor souls sticking their heads out of the windows. It was on the front page of the biggest tabloid in New York City, the New York Daily News. It's not being suppressed.

There had to be day care centers in the WTC If there were day care centers in the WTC they would have been on the ground floor.

I have also wondered how many children were killed on 9-11. I know there were some on the planes. Little was ever mentioned about the children. It seems as though the politics of the whole event has overshadowed the victims. I also think that many Americans are in denial that our nation is vulnerable, and fear prevents them from wanting to know the details of that horrible day. They think that if we don't talk about it that it really didn't/couldn't happen.

A lot more than a dozen jumped, fell or were pushed.
No day care facilities at the Trade Center and not likely that any kids were having a power breakfast at Windows. There may have been kids on the planes but I don't recall ever hearing their names called or their pictures shown at any of the roll calls of the dead.

More than a dozen. When you listen to the tapes of the Firemen in the command post in the WTC, you can hear a body hitting the covered driveway about every 10-20 seconds. It was sickening.
