How many jumped from the WTC towers?

The media has seemed to suppress this (how many poor souls that felt compelled to jump from the burning towers) for whatever reason.

I, for one, would like to be armed with some sort of number who leaped to their certain deaths. I have a feeling, due to the "Vietnamization" taking place now, that this tidbit of data might come in handy.......right about the time some clown gets my '5 across the lips'.

Anybody have an idea as to the numbers involved here? Thanks in advance.

I remember seeing those people on the roof and thinking the same thing. Saying to myself, "those people on the flrs. above the impact can't be saved" But thinking all the others would get out. Then the bldgs. collapsed.

I remember an episode of Law & Order where there was a fire in a disco, and the opening scene was about 50 body bags lying in a row on the street. Powerful TV. Too bad the peaceniks can't see 5000 body bags lined up all around NYC.

Why in the world would you want to show people jumping out of the WTC? Do you want the news to turn into a gladatorial event or something? Heck, maybe you'd prefer they put it on pay-for-view: "Faces of Death VIII: WTC Disaster". Get real. Nobody needs to see that.

You're absolutely right about the media. I watched with disgust today as CNN implemented its "balance"--five minutes of undiluted Al-Jazeer propaganda and then one three second shot of the crews at Ground Zero. In this ham-handed mind control manuver, they will create a reaction that our bombs are doing more civilian damage than the terrorists did, because the shot of Ground Zero never changes. This, of course, is exactly the result CNN wants.

Tokyo Rose went to prison for less than CNN does every day.

God, Sam, every single time I see that picture, I want to cry all over again.

Right there in the middle is a desperate mother, holding her beloved child out the window to get that baby some fresh air. And the baby's outstretched arms, reaching for relief that probably never came...

I'm a mother of a precious toddler and pregnant with a second miracle baby (we didn't think we would ever have children, so both are DEFINITELY miracles) on the way. I simply cannot look at that picture without tearing up, without feeling an overwhelming sense of personal loss (even though I know the loss was not mine), and without wanting to turn the entire Afghan landscape into a large sheet of glass with bodies buried in it.

I forced myself to watch this video. I had to. Its a twisted website with a pathetic sound clip added to it so I muted. These poor people are a million times worse than a 5 yr old with a boo boo on her head. It brought a tear to my eye watching it. It makes me more angry and more supportive of the effort. I want to take these videos and play them during these peace protests. I hope all these people lost consciousness during their fall.

Thanks for posting this picture. I want to remember this image so, while praying for peace and comfort to the surviving family, friends and co-workers, I pray for the wrath of God to incinerate every Muslim terrorist in the world. (I'll consider other types of terrorists at another time.) My full venom goes out to the "Man of Peace" (Islamic) terrorists for the forseeable future.
