I hope everyone just got a chance to see President Bush just now at the World Series. The whole crowd was chanting "USA" and giving him a standing ovation. He threw a perfect strike, and he was absolutely magical.

I went to my first air show when we lived in Syracuse. Flying Tigers (or Eagles--forgive my ignorance). The roar of the engines goes to the bottom of your soul. It is hard to describe.
On Memorial Day, the fighter jets do a flyover over most of the villages in Central New York. I am glad to be back home in the South (although I loved Syracuse, even have a Yankee child & some days we let him out of the closet hee-hee!), but I miss the Memorial Day flyovers.

My heart was overflowing to see President Bush walk out there with NO FEAR! He is the number one target of bin Laden and yet there he was - showing all Americans how to be brave and how to give bin Laden the finger. What a leader. I am so proud to have this man of faith in the White House. I have learned a great deal from him in the last 10 months and I'm sure I'll learn more as time goes on.

Shes gone now, thank God.
That seat is like a revolving door during these games, several different people will sit there during the course of the night.
I just find it apalling that someone who is against a citizens right to self defense, is a hypocrite who hates Republicans and doesn't have a good word to say about Bush would be sitting there in the first inning.

Okay, so then why were the ramparts so gallantly streaming? Were they covered in flags? Thanks so far.

You could be right about the F-14's, I saw the twin engines and thought F-15.

I wonder if Clemmens could say:
"HEY!....UMP!....I CANT CONCENTRATE WHILE THAT CHICK WITH THE HUGE GRAPE IS SITTING BEHIND THE PLATE!"
I wonder if the Ump could make her move.

I think the words are, "Oar the ramparts, we watched."It's "o're"...as in "over" the ramparts we watched....

Thanks for the research! Look at this, front the link about Challenger:
"Challenger" was blown from a wild nest as a baby during a storm about twelve years ago, and was hand raised by the people who found him. Unfortunately, he experienced too much human contact at a very young age and became highly "human socialized." As a result, "Challenger" thinks he's a person, and cannot survive on his own in the wild.
It sounds like Challenger knows the score -- any bird that would bite Clinton has great taste!

Jennings closed the evening news with this (paraphrase): "Remember that President Bush said he'd root for anyone but the Yankees. So if the fans boo him, we'll know that things have returned to normal".So that canuck SOB actually had the audacity to say that.
He is certifiable.
Proof of that is evidenced by the fact he slept with this:
Something needs to be done about this guy.

Jennings actually said that! What an total creep. I never watch him or Rather - its my personal protest. Its just aiding the enemy to sneer at W doing something like this.

So the flag was still there at the ramparts without a flag pole, like the people with their flags in the upper deck and the flags at ground zero on the shell of the buildings. And, if you consider the genuine surge in patriotism, not only was the flag still there, now the "flag is everywhere"!
