I think this just for the families who lost people at the WTC.

Yes, that's the first thing I noticed. At least she isn't on the dais. Perhaps she realized she would get booed at this memorial service, too.

They are still pooring water on the site. I can't believe it's still burning. It's been 7 weeks. We need to keep praying for the survivors.

But she is sitting in front of Schumer. So I guess that should make her happy. Yesterday was her birthday you know, and the impeached ex president and his daughter are in Madrid. Hmmm, I wonder if she had a happy birthday.

Who was that policeman who sang the national anthem? He has a voice as good as any of the three tenors. Also done without accompaniment, and stayed on key and did not mug for the camera or re-do the arrangement. Voice very clear and beautiful (tenor).
To: Snow Bunny
It's our guy!!! Andrea Bocelli!!!! I am just so crazy for his voice.
To: Miss Marple
The policeman is Officer Rodiquez. He has been an acting ambassador for the department and singing the national anthem at several events. He has a wonderful voice.

Hillary is in the first rowI'm not near a TV. Is she rolling eyes? Is she getting booed? LOL
To: Jennifer in Florida
Andreas was AWESOME. That has to be one of the most beautiful songs ever written. *sniff sniff*
To: Miss Marple
Do you know the faith of the NYPD Chaplain?

I could see the hoses still going on Friday. It just won't stop. If you could only see the flatbed trucks coming out with the twisted steel girders on them... twisted like pretzels...
I started a job on the AMEX after the attack, and it is just horrible being near the site. I try to go out and look at it at least for a few minutes every day, but the smell is a constant reminder. Something in the air down there still stinks.

I think that the core temp is still 1600 degrees.
This prayer is giving me the creeps. I don't think it should, but it does.

He sang the National Anthem at 3 or 4 Yankee playoff games this month. It was always very moving.
Not to be outdone, the Diamondbacks had Jewell do it last night for Game 1 of the World Series. Barf.

I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE NYPD HAVE A MUSLIM ON THAT STAGE ! With apology to no one, his presence must be a slap in the face
to most all in that crowd with a dead loved one in the rubble.
and now, as he finished his 'prayer', the crowd seem noticable underwhelmed.

Do you have Andrea Bocelli's "Sacred Arias"? It has Ave Maria by both Bach and Schubert. Amazing.
