The horrific attack on our WTC might have been foiled if our Intelligence Agencies had had the resources to gather intelligence. It is because of Bill Clinton and his Leftist policies that they didn't. It is important that this fact be documented for the historical record.
I have put together a section on my "American Veterans" site in which I have been gathering articles and information pertaining to Clinton's role in handcuffing our intelligence and demoralizing our military.
If anyone knows of further articles or information that could be added to this site, please contact me. I am particularly interested in writings and speeches by Senator James Inhofe. Keep in mind that this is not an all things Clinton site, but a site dedicated to Clinton's failure to protect America.
THE CULPABILITY OF WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON
There is no question that the Clinton administration are fully to blame for the terrorist attacks on this nation and for the very real dangers which we now face in terms of enduring as a free nation!
There is no question that these same culpable culprits are right now WORKING ON BEHALF OF THE TERRORISTS to destroy President Bush, and America, with every possible tools at their disposal (primarily the culpable media puppets but also their many allies in the terrorist community - and among the nations - the corrupt ones they catered to during their reign of terror).
We need your website to become a book and we need it published and "out there" for distribution to every library in America, every shopping mall in America, every school in America, every post office and police station in America, eventually to every home in America. We need for all Americans who care about our "enduring freedom" and existance as a free nation to get to work passing these out everywhere they can so that this TRAITOR and HER HEINOUS can be arrested and put on trial for treason - after we elect as many Reppublicans possible in 2002!!!!
Thanks again for starting this website/project. Well done. And sorry for the tirade - know putting this into book form is something that involves much more than probably is able to be done at this time - but surely someone (in a publishing house) could find a way to get it Done! Call it a contribution to Homeland Security!
While Clinton was a dirtbag, blaming him for the terrorist attacks is simple minded. The people who attacked are to blame.
If there is a need to go back in history to see what helped cause the attacks it would be intellectually dishonest to leave out the fact that acts committed by Reagan and Bush Sr. contributed at least as much to our present situation.
Reagan helped put the Taliban in place and Bush Sr. helped run the CIA into the ground and left Saddam standing at the end of the Gulf War. If you want to blame Clinton you'd better face up to the fact that this is not solely of his making.
But the bottom line remains that our enemy is not our politicians no matter how many mistakes they've made. The enemy is clearly defined.
Ronald Reagan did not put the Taliban in place. To state that is simplistic. Our aim in Afghanistan was to defeat the Russian Communists who were attempting to over take Afghanistan. We accomplished that mission. No one back then could have forseen the ultimate results of today.
To be sure, George senior should have gone after Saddam Hussein and finished the job. But the reasoning back then was that it would have been too much for us to take over Iraq and there was no guarantee that a Hussein successor would have been any better. We elected to contain him and encourage rebellion. But the policies set up to monitor Hussein, to carry out ongoing weapons inspections, were not enforced by Clinton.
Is this a little better? After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
If Clinton had not pardon 16 and released 14 convicted terrorist in August, 1999, the message to terrorist world wide would be much different.

Oliver North is a fascist who traded weapons to terrorists.
Oliver North has a lot of nerve, blaming Clinton for the continued existence of terrorism in America.
Any site which uses Oliver North as a source of info is so biased as not to be at all credible.
I understand that everyone here hates Clinton, and may never come to terms with the fact that Americans elected him president--twice, in fact!--but this kind of fictional diatribe is neither sensible nor productive.

In some ways, perhaps neither were the "good guys."
However, when criticizing Colonel North for "trad(ing) weapons to terrorists," I was referring to Iran as the terrorists. Few Americans, especially at that time, would disagree with that assessment.
